We are planning a trip to DL in May and we will most likely have 4 adults (dh, me, plus my fil & mil) and 2 children with us. We want to get two rooms. I was looking at the entertainment book retro rate availability for the dates we plan to go, and I did see that we could get two rooms...

This was my experience as well. I checked in at exactly 24 hours in advance and we were in group B.

I'm hoping to go again in 2012. Not sure what month yet, I'm waiting for next year's school calendar to be released. :) Probably either end of January or May. I would love to go again this year but I don't think that is going to happen due to DH's limited vacation time.

This is how I feel. Heat and crowd do NOT = part of the magic, IMO. So we will do whatever we can to avoid or minimize the unpleasant aspects. If (g)you don't want to use apps or whatever, that is certainly your choice. :)

Are they going for her benefit? Or are they going because they want a fun vacation? We went early in May with our 2 daughters, one who was 17 months old & we had a great time. We did not go specifically for her benefit, but because we wanted a fun family vacation. :)

We are like that too, need a fan (in addition to ceiling fan) & white noise to sleep. On our last trip we packed a white noise machine, and also rented a box fan (from A Baby's Best Friend).

Thanks for posting this review! I might try this company for our next trip if our youngest is still in a crib. She sleeps horribly in pack n plays. For our last trip we rented a crib from A Baby's Best Friend and our experience was not as smooth as yours.

We had a great trip earlier this month, but for our 3 worst moments I have to say it is a 3 way tie: 1- When DD2 threw up in Cosmic Rays. No warning, she just gagged on a bite of chicken nugget and that was it. This was during a crowded lunch hour. 2- When DD2 refused to sit in her high...

We also gate checked our double stroller with Southwest, just a few weeks ago.

We skipped the parades & most of the shows on our trip. We just wanted to avoid the crowds...and if we stop for too long our youngest gets cranky. She is all about the action & riding rides. Next time we might have to split up, because I think my oldest would love the parades & shows.

I was VERY nervous before our trip. VERY VERY. I was afraid of forgetting something important, and it was our first time flying with kids so that had me worried too.

I regret spending as much as I did on t-shirts that ended up shrinking and not fitting me well.

We were just there 5/4-5/9, and all I can think about is "when can we go back???" I was more anxious than excited before the trip, because it was our first time flying with kids...but even with that challenge (DD2 is not a fan of flying) we still had such a great time!

I'm seriously considering renting a car for our next trip. After a few long bus rides on our last trip with us packed on like sardines, trying to balance the double stroller and our 2 kids, plus souvenir bags & diaper bag... :sad2:

This exactly! I got the whole "why would you WANT to go every year when DD2 won't remember it???" from my MIL. I don't care if she doesn't remember it. We still get the photo memories and my husband & I enjoy the trip too. It's a fun family vacation. Should we wait to do anything fun until...

I have no one to talk Disney with. Even my husband is not as "into it" as I am now. He, on the other hand, works with several guys who are Disney lovers. That is what convinced him to agree to us going this year. :thumbsup2

I took touring plans for each park as well as a spreadsheet with where we would eat, and what we would be doing (parks, DTD, swimming, etc). We mostly stuck to the plan but not always, which was fine too.

I have 2 girls, ages 5 & 1, and we found plenty to do at Epcot. :) We did everything as a family, so even the 1 year old was never left out. We never went for a full day though, we did 2 evenings at Epcot. We had a harder time finding things to do at Animal Kingdom, due to the height...

When we were at the Magic Kingdom on May 8 I saw Lady Tremaine & the 2 stepsisters inside the park, headed towards the castle area. It was in the morning.
