    Flight of Passage... Motion Sickness??

I am on the edge on many motion type rides and Bonine takes the edge off for me without drowsiness. Highly recommended.

    Wildernes Lodge "Bus Issues"

I think we figured it out. If a bus to HS should run every 20 minutes then that works out to 3 buses per hour. WL was not running at that level for any of the destinations when I waited early in June. Cut it down to 1 bus per hour and 2/3 of your bus expense for WL is gone!!! It sure feels...

    Wildernes Lodge "Bus Issues"

I can only imagine how complex setting the schedule for Disney bus transportation must be. So my utmost respect for the people that try to make it work. I also have sympathy for the bus drivers. It must be difficult dealing with the current conditions at WL. For the record my loading delays...

    Wildernes Lodge "Bus Issues"

I was at WL June 5-14. So we may have waited in a line together at some point. Ended up waiting a very long time on Sunday June 7 to get to Animal Kingdom. Gave it one more try on Monday June 8 for HS and gave up on the bus at that point and took my car for balance of the trip. Had a great...

    Wildernes Lodge "Bus Issues"

I definitely agree that ECV/wheelchair customers should be treated in a equitable and "safe" manor. Part of the Disney magic is everyone having fun at the parks. Another thing I noticed is no ECV/wheelchair activity on any of the buses that I had issues with. Sadly, I see many must be setting...

    Wildernes Lodge "Bus Issues"

I never got the feeling that a second bus was coming in behind the bus that came late. We were lucky that no scooter families arrived 40 minutes into the wait. Everyone would have been upset!! The thing that needs to happen is first come first serve waiting areas (and or) the buses need to run...

    Wildernes Lodge "Bus Issues"

I just got back from 10 days at the Lodge. As usual we had a great time and I would rate overall experience an 8 or 9 out of 10. We had great weather and no major problems. But, I have noticed one change that is not good. The bus service has gotten worse. This is a deluxe resort and buses...

Fort Wilderness Cabins or 2 rooms at Port Orleans Riverside?

I think you made a wise choice. We stayed a couple of years ago as a family of 6 in the cabins and really missed the extra bathroom. I am heading to WL June 4-14 and we are booking 2 rooms. I love the the cabins but need bigger beds and the second bathroom when we all come in at 3 in the...

Anyone been 1st week in June?

In late May and early June you have Gay Days and Star Wars Weekends that can add a large number of people to the parks. I have also seen Florida schools in the parks late May as well. I dream of going in March or April when it's slow.

    Cabins at Wilderness Lodge?

We are a family of 6 with 4 kids (16,14,12, and 9). I decided to save money last year as we usually stay at the lodge in 2 rooms or a 2 bedroom suite. My thoughts on the cabin are below: Pros: Cost Rustic feel of the cabins. My kids enjoyed riding the golf cart that we rented. Great...

    Heater for tent camping?

I know you are in a tent but please listen to the warning below. If you don't have electricity and use a gas or kerosene type heater then you need to have ventilation. A non electric heater consumes oxygen and can deplete the oxygen where you are sleeping. Carbon Monoxide poisoning is a killer...

    Broken toe at Disney tips?

I have a friend that is a lunatic runner and he broke his toe and was disappointed that he would miss an upcoming marathon. He was able to continue training and run in the marathon when he tried a shoe called a Hoka One One. It is an expensive shoe that extreme runners really like. My friend...

    Heaters for tent? Help needed!

If you go with a propane or kerosene based heater you must have ventilation or you have the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning (death). This applies to any enclosed room or tent. It is never recommended to leave any space heater plugged in while sleeping due to risk of fire. A quality sleeping...

Thinking about buying a Apple MacBook Pro...what do I need to know?

I converted to a mac about 3 years ago and will never go back to PC for work or home. I downloaded Microsoft Office for Mac and I interact seamlessly with friends and coworkers. I also recommend downloading Firefox and Chrome as web browsers as well. They work extremely well on the mac. Good...

    Keen Sandals

The only shoes I wear at Disney are Keens during the summer. They work great and keep your feet cooler than tennis shoes and socks. If you are worried about cold weather then I would go with tennis shoes and socks.

First Timer with Lots of Questions!!!

I would have the characters sign a white pillowcase with different Sharpies (or any other permanent marker). My kids really enjoy the pillowcases. They get used every night. My kids are 6, 9, 12, and 14. I even had Mickey Mouse sign my baseball cap and I am 43 (one of my fondest memories)...

    Fantasmic Question

Christine, All of the seats have great views. The general admission seating has you enter in the middle of the theater. They will try to fill up the theater from left to right as you face the stage. The reserve seating is all the way on the right as you enter the theater. They will...
