New MyMagic+ 'Memory Maker' photography package begins Friday

This doesn't work for PP+. It wants a MM number which has a different number of digits than the PP+ cards. For PP+, go to the PP+ section of MDE, then click Claim Photos. Enter the 16-digit PP+ card number here & they will appear.

New MyMagic+ 'Memory Maker' photography package begins Friday

Well it hasn't worked the way it should. Will have to visit a desk again to try to link them again

New MyMagic+ 'Memory Maker' photography package begins Friday

To follow up, I've discovered the hard & the easy way to link the 18 people on our reservation. The hard way: Log into each person's MDE account, befriend/befamily each of the other 17 people. Give each person access to your photos. Repeat for each of the 18 people in the group. This would...

New MyMagic+ 'Memory Maker' photography package begins Friday

Today was Blizzard Beach for us, so no photos taken. Will find out about the linking later. With the old PP+ system, you didn't need to purchase multiple packages, just one PP+ package for all people. Then get a PP card for each person & link all PP cards into the PP+ package. I'm still...

New MyMagic+ 'Memory Maker' photography package begins Friday

We are in our first day at WDW now. We pre purchased PP+ & took the voucher in for the PP+ card & lanyard this morning. We were told that we could use our magic bands to have photos taken & link everything using the MDE website later to the PP+. At this stage, I have the photos taken with my...

    Extra Magic Hours at Disneyland

Ah, okay, the onsite guest EMH I thought applied only to Disneyland Hotel according to the DL/DCA website where VGC isn't even mentioned, but perhaps this is just because VGC isn't available to the "public". Thanks for clarifying.

    Extra Magic Hours at Disneyland

Hi, we're heading to the Grand Californian in early February & are now putting together our touring plans. Would anyone know if the DL/DCA extra magic (morning) hour perk for DVC members is still available? It was announced in June as a "summer" perk but without an expiry date, as far as I can...

Anyone made it through (or not made it through) ROFR recently? - Section V

Got through ROFR for 160 points at Grand Californian for $90/point for an almost stripped contract.

    DVC resale changes coming!?!

I can't find the answer to this question anywhere: What is DVD? How is it different to DVC?

    DVC resale changes coming!?!

This is an interesting idea & if it comes to pass, it wouldn't drive me to buy direct... it would drive me to not buy at all. I think with these restrictions, we'll find that rental points will become cheaper as more & more points will come on the market with rental restrictions for use at one...

Direct purchase & included points, etc?

Thanks to all for the advice. Yes, whenever I wrote VGF, I meant VGC/GCV. I will keep being patient.

Direct purchase & included points, etc?

Hi Dean, thanks for the reply. I'm after the same number of points contract with retail or resale, but I am under the impression that, played correctly, retail will double the first year's available points without increasing dues beyond the prorated amount, whereas a similar situation on the...

Direct purchase & included points, etc?

Ah, the waitlist. I hadn't factored that into consideration. If there's a waitlist, does that mean that I can't actually sign up while in the USA, since all I can do is get placed on a waitlist then do the paperwork when we get to the top, by which time we won't be in the States & therefore...

Direct purchase & included points, etc?

Thanks for all the answers. Sounds like even though dues are based on calendar years, it doesn't really matter when in the year the contract is bought as the dues will be pro rated anyway. Sounds like it's more important when the contract is bought relative to the use year (buy in May with June...

Direct purchase & included points, etc?

Hi, Just my second post to Disboards... we're looking into buying into DVC & weighing up the options of resale vs direct. The difference in price & hassle between the two isn't that much since a resale purchase will have to be done by remote from overseas (along with its hassle, delays...

    Go to an Embassy?!?

Hi. Thanks for this thread. Been lurking for over a year & looking into DVC but we're in Australia. To buy resale DVC points, will we need notarized signatures, and if so, does this need to be in a US embassy or will a local lawyer do? The local lawyer has previously notarized documents when...
