We had the fireworks view. It was not a must-have before I went, but I found that I really enjoyed it. I would go out of my way to have the fireworks view next time, but not to the point where I would sacrifice room size.

We could see fireworks from building 4. We could see EP and MK - once at the same time. MK is in the distance. The higher up you are, the better and the side of the building to the right as you face the parking lot offers the better view.

Used them for our December 1 - 11, 2012 trip. They were the least expensive, easy to work with, friendly and responsive. We were very pleased. I will use them again.

They were there two years ago and I was incredibly sad that they were not set up this past December!

The issue was that the GPS does not recognize parking lots. I think if you have actual addresses it would likely work. I use a Garmin Nuvi and the maps are updated. It gets you headed in the right direction, but it is best to follow a sign when one is available.

Someone else mentioned the Hale Koa. This is military hotel and as we'll as the wonderful and very reasonable luau, they have trip packages. We went on a wonderful snorkeling trip to a nearby volcanic bay. Call and see what they have. Kudos to you for wanting to do something for them.

You'll see this advice repeated throughout the forums - take it seriously - leave the parks for the afternoon and relax at the hotel pool, take a nap, etc. This made all the difference for us when the kids were young. Its hard to get me out of the parks, but I learned the hard way.
