Looking for ideas to pass the time waiting in lines that don’t have to do with being on the phone. My wife and I are headed back for a 4 day stay on Wednesday next week!! Was hoping for FastPass+ to return but that’s not looking likely.

So frustrating. I was looking to book BOG FP+ for July 9. I wonder when those will open up. I originally wondered if FPs were all taken for the days we'd be in Disney, but I'm glad to read everyone is having the same issue.

Because my wife works at a school and is limited on when she can take time off, we've found July is the best time to go. It sure is hot and busy, especially with the BTGs, but we love going and can't wait to be back in just two weeks!!

I'm glad the MK hours have been expanded to 11p or midnight most nights in July. However -- I miss the EMH of 2am/3am when we went in early July in 2011. There's something amazing and magical about being in the parks so late.

I love this thread. We haven't used FP+/MDE yet but will during our July 2014 trip... I can't wait until I can book out FP+ in May. I so look forward to knowing we definitely will ride the Mine Train, TSM even before we get on property. I'm not one to hurry through life... but I can't wait for July!

I haven't seen anything on here, but on Facebook there are pics of part of the castle being repainted silver (the turrets... the peaks that used to be blue). Done say its primer but DVC Central says silver is the new color to coincide with a new part of Celebrate the Magic. Anyone know what's...

Sorry this may be an elementary question... Say I have the regular Disney dining plan ( 1 TS, 1 CS ). If I wanted to, could I use a CS to replace a TS meal... essentially downgrading for that meal? Does that make sense?

Well, we were waiting for a discount and we finally got it! My wife booked our trip today using the Disney Visa Rewards 20% discount for Pop Century. We were hoping to switch it up and stay at AOA-LM, but POP is just fine... WE'RE GOING BACK TO WALT DISNEY WORLD! My wife had some fun with it...

I totally agree with you. I have zero interest in US. Disney is the definition of vacation in my book... Though my wife is wanting to possibly do something different this summer vacation. Fingers crossed for some kind of July/early August promo/discount. That'll make it or break it this ywar

My DW and I did this for the first time on our last trip last year. The drawing class has to be one of my favorite hidden gems at WDW.

I just received the vacation DVD in the mail, and it's still the 2013 version, based on the packaging.

Snakes are rare. I wrote the original post about having one in my luggage at POP. We've been to Disney a number of times and this was the first we'd ever seen one, let alone had a "too close for comfort" encounter. They're not common to see at Disney.

Disney did kill the snake because the guys thought it was poisonous. The snake was aggressive and did lurch initially. It was red/orange in color but turned out to be "just" a corn snake... They guys did say something to the effect of... aww, it's just a corn snake, now I feel bad for killing...
