The Polynesian's marina begins renting at 10am.

DH and 7 yr. old DS went on a watermouse together at the Poly in Feb. no problem, and I saw an even younger child going on with their father. Maybe age 12 is the requirement if they are going in their own watermouse, alone.

My DH and DS rented a watermouse from the Poly just a few weeks ago. It was $22 per half hour, and they got it in the morning, right when the marina opens at 10am, no waiting. They loved is so much that they took one out again the next day in the late PM, again no wait. Here they are:

We were there this past Feb. and my DH and DS (who is 7) shared a watermouse for 1/2 an hour and it was $22.00. I don't know what the other costs were for other boats, but this was at the Poly and we were staying on site, not sure if it matters whether you're on or off site.

It does sound like Fiji is your best bet. Also, I think O'hana has a kids menu for those who won't eat the brochettes. Good luck!

We were just there with out 7 yr. DS and the MK was the best park. He just wasn't as interested in Epcot or MGM and we didn't do AK, which maybe you could do in the AM on one day and then go to the MK at night, which is a can't miss, being right there for the fireworks is awesome and the castle...

I had the best experience with e-mailing Poly Concierge. They did everything I asked of them set all my PS's, etc. Melissa was the best!
