ITA that if she's going back to school, a charter school or a school-system guided home learning program is the best option. It will make the transition back into school the easiest and most seamless. My nephew did the same thing for a year.

I'm kind of OCD about the fridge and food going bad, so once a month I empty the fridge and clean it out. The deep freeze in the garage is a different story. That gets emptied and cleaned maybe once a year.
