I would not recommend Tokyo dining at all. First of all I am Japanese living in the states for past 20+ years so my bar for Japanese food is different than other folks in this forum.
The bad:
Most of "Sushi chefs" at this restaurant are a bunch of teenage girls who are on a year program to work...
Wow, you are such a writer and photographer! I was on Wonder right before your trip. I really enjoyed your TR and brought back good memories by reading your TR. It was also windy time to time during my sea days especially the last day, but it was nice (No Rain)weather in general. One reason I...
I enjoyed your trip report! Your TR brought back good memories frin 2/19-26 MR cruise I was on! Oh what a coincidence, I too had Bonieface and Zinzani as our MDR server.
This was our first cruise and am very spoiled by their service. They were so good that made me book another Disney Wonder...
+1 for flash during character meals.
Also I recommend bouncing against ceiling or side wall even against back wall of you if you can. Bouncing light can dramatically improve your photograph.
You will need to stop down anyway to get everyone in focus. Also you will be using wide end mostly due to limited space. That said, 50mm on 1.6x crop body will be very long for your purpose.
When I look at pics I took during char meals, I mostly used between 24-35mm (full frame camera) end...
Well just entered my room on wonder and what a surprise! The same gift pack was on my bed! This is my first cruise so I am not sure why I received the gift:) I booked my cruise with my Disney visa so that could have helped.

But I sneaked in my E-PL3 instead which it became very handy after my wife's Sony p&s crapped out during Disneyland visit yesterday. I am heading out to the port for MR. Ruise now knowing a...

I've recently purchased EP-L3 and took it with me to business trip in Germany.
I usually haul around huge canon cameras but now I am taking this camera to next Disney trip in a few days.
I am going to Cabo and Puerto Vallarta on MR cruise and visit DL before I get on the Wonder. The lens is 2.8f ,and this sucker is very heavy to carry around all day long.
I am taking 16-35mm, 24-105mm, and 35mm1.4 but was not sure 200mm+1.4ext is going to be long enough for shooting dolphins...
Thanks Jack for sharing your experience and sample pics. I love the second pic, and this is a great capture.
Based on your photos, I'll need more reach to get decent photo of whales. That said, I won't bother taking my 70-200 with me, and this will save my shoulders and back from carrying...
