    REALgay

I look in from time to time. Probably a bit more since we've booked for a visit in 2012. I am gay. I know, right?

    How would you react?

I get asked if I'm a T-Rex all the time. Darn these tiny arms! Seriously, if I were to be asked if I were straight or gay, I'd respond with laughter

maybe the Empire isn't so evil after all...

I guess I could do some shameless promotion here (with the board's permission, I hope...) Speaking of Stormtroopers... I'll be walking this year in Toronto's AIDS Walk in my full SandTrooper kit. Nerds can be aware too! It's a 5KM walk (3.1 miles) through downtown Toronto to raise funds...

    What's with the attitude?

The last time I attended Gay Days (2009) we got on the Carousel beside two red shirted guys wearing matching Disney supplied wedding top hats. I was really happy for them and I leaned over and said "Congratulations!" really loudly, nearly in their face. Both men turned to me and I was...

    D23 Expo

We're going, but only doing Friday for D23, and then the weekend in the parks. After that we're driving the coast up to SFO. Should be a gas!!

    Fun Picture Taking

Trust me, Meltdown pics are near impossible to get without running the risk of getting punched in the face or have some parent getting security to escort you off the lot for being creepy. Not that it happened to me... Our cat sitter wanted me to get video/pics of crying kids for an art...

    My Gay Moment in WDW

I'm a bit conflicted telling this story, but here goes... My DH and two best friends (a male couple) were at MK on our last night of our week long trip, just last Tuesday. We managed to snag 8pm dinner reservations at The Liberty Tree Restaurant and were seated promptly. Our server, lets...

    Little Moments.

My first trip to MK was when I was 42 years old. Despite wanting to go, I was cynical and skeptic that WDW would be a fun place to visit at my age, but my DH talked me into it. We spent a great week riding the rides and I was genuinely impressed. I regret not going sooner. On the last night...

    How old were you?

I decided at the golden age of 17 that if I was going to be happy, the people I loved needed to know. I just did three blog posts about telling my family/friends that were picked up by BigGayCloset.com: When I told my mom is here. When I told my friends is here. When I told my dad is...

    Need help with proposal!

Good for you! Why not propose on the Tower of Terror? Either way she's going to scream! Juuust kidding. You could do the whole Lady and the Tramp thing - Take her to Tony's Town Square and put a ring in her meatball! Or not. She might eat it. Okay okay serious here: The beach...

    Is it a ride?

It seems there's a ton of videos like this - click on the "similar videos". Cast members need to vent I guess. I wonder how many of them still work there.

    Suggest a quiet/romantic hideaway

I've only eaten on property, so can't help you there, sorry. I love the Crystal palace for character breakfast - you get into MK early and can take all sorts of castle pictures without massive crowds. Food is okay. And who doesn't love Pooh? The Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT is fantastic...

    Suggest a quiet/romantic hideaway

This is going to sound weird but when I went to MK the first time we had run of Tom Sawyer Island all to ourselves for at least 30 minutes. We stood people-watching for the longest time. Not sure why we were alone for so long...fluke?

New and Improved Introduce Yourself and Post a pic thread!

Holy cow there's more Vaseline on the lens for that picture than a standard Crystal Carrington close up!

    DFW Sisters got Mission status!

Here's a pic of them pre-terrorizing some poor University of Toronto event. I'm glad the Sisters are still around. Be proud!

    DFW Sisters got Mission status!

Mazel tov!! Are those masks or actual "b***h to get off" make up? My bro was part of the Toronto chapter of the Sisters back in the 70s, so keep up the good work!
