Whoohooo...just booked 3 day for Oct 17! But, boohoo, they would not confirm any room for me like they did for sc minnie. They said we would not find out our room until we got our trip papers 2 weeks before we sail. We are in a category guarantee though, cat. 10 or 11. Can't wait any way!

One of the neatest times....pulling out of St. Thomas I was on deck 9....they blew the horn twice, and each time it echoed....very coooooool!

The only access to rails in on deck 4, 9, and 10. On decks 4 and 10, the rail is about 3 1/2 feet high with plexi glass covering it, making it almost impossible to climb(you'd have to be really ignoring your kid) We rarely went on those decks near the rails....not much to interest our 2 year...

St. Maarten....rum...$5/bottle...3 bottles...don't know why....we don't drink rum.....but it was the thing to do! Also bought Guavaberry Liquer, a local liquer...again....it just seemed the thing to do. Also bought outfits for myself and dd for tropical night at a nice low price......

Each is GREAT in their own way....I'd hate to miss any. However, they are particularly good with Disney Dreams...Thursday night. I took my 2 yr ds to this and it held his attention tightly.

One of the things I liked best about DCL is the food that is available at Pluto's and Pinnochio's all day. My kids can swim until they are hungry whether it be 3pm or 7pm and stop to eat pizza, burgers, dogs...you know, kid food.:) I've only cruised one other time on Royal Carribean (3nite)...

My dh and dd(10)did it tandem....my dh had done it years ago and loved it, but having someone to share it with made it even better (so he says). They did it on Castaway Cay...$70 pp. They both enjoyed it so much, they didn't mind the cost. And yes, they'd do it again.

We are not big soda drinkers, but the soda at dinner time is included in the price. My kids had no problem doing ice water during the day from the fountain on deck 9. That quenched their thirst in the sun better than soda anyhow.:)
