Considering First Ever Solo Trip - Tips, Suggestions, and Advice?

I say go for it! The first time I traveled solo to WDW, the memories did pop up a time or two, but they made me happy. I loved setting the pace and stopping where and when I wanted to stop. I really enjoyed just sitting on a bench with a drink or dessert and people-watching. I did not miss...

Security lines Christmas week? Parks & Disney Springs.

I would suggest hitting the parks as early as you can get your gang moving. You will do more and can slow down and just enjoy being in the park when the crowds grow.

Is WDW worth it without fireworks?

For me personally, the fireworks are a deal-breaker. I really like Disney's fireworks. I agree with some that places like Main Street can become a little crazy but there are other places like the Poly Beach/Contemporary (or Epcot) where you can have a great view of the fireworks and still have...

Disney's CONTEMPORARY RESORT Information & Questions

I vote for the splurge and go for the theme park view if......fireworks are back. I plan to book a TPV but only after the fireworks have resumed. In my opinion, you can get a water view from several other resorts on and off the property.

Disney's CONTEMPORARY RESORT Information & Questions

I have stayed in several of the other deluxe resorts over the years. I have enjoyed them all. My next visit will be in a CR tower room with a park view. I have dreamed of watching the fireworks from my balcony. Its gonna happen. Of course, they have to restart the fireworks so I am not...

What are the little things you love about taking trips to Disney?

I live up north. In the winter, I enjoy the sunshine and the sound of the birds that are living at WDW for the winter. I enjoy the background music. I listen to it often online. People Mover at MK Walking around the World Showcase as nightfall sets in and the torches are burning. My...

    Surprising my fiancé

This is totally different and goofy..... Have someone on cameo.com who has a tie to Disney create a message to share with him. This is a service my kid gave to a friend for their birthday and they loved it. I found the guy who voiced Pumbaa.... https://www.cameo.com/erniesabella

I’m new here but I want to know any good tips and ideas for a first tile solo Disney visit

I would do research on each of the parks and rank them according to which is your favorite. I would plan to visit the lower-ranked parks first and save the favorite park for last. If MK is your number one choice and you visit it first, the other parks might not be as exciting. All of the parks...

Best Disney resort for adults-only trip? (during COVID re-opening)

I would pick the Contemporary or Bay Lake. Great restaurants are onsite - Cali Grill, The Wave, Chef Mickeys Monorail access. Walk to MK. Great place to watch the MK fireworks (IF they are doing firework shows by November). Lots of recreational activities and shops on site.

    Solo Holiday to Disney World

I think the idea of solo traveling sounds great. You get to set the schedule. There will be no need to wait for anyone else to get ready or keep you in the park if you want a break. Also, if you feel like meeting someone for a change you can always post your dates on the Disboard and meet up...
