The last 2 sets of ap discounts have only been 30% really no different then the public discount. I would not buy an Ap just for the discount. Water parks are not free with an Ap you have to upgrade to a premium pass that includeds water parks. This pass is about 150.00 more than the regular ap.

I always plan on 60-100 a day for tips and alcohol. We are a family of four and we eat at a lot of signatures so the gratuity is usually pretty high.

POFQ the room was tiny and dirty. The pool was not designed for kids over the age of 5. We were only booked for 1 night,but I asked to moved after 2 hours. If this is the best disney has to offer for moderate resorts I don't think I will ever stay moderate.

A better comparison would be to price out a disney deluxe with a Universal deluxe. Universals rack rates are 150-300 less than the rack rates of disney.

Package prices are set in the summer of the previous year usually August this summer it was June. I don't think they change the price of the packages even if ticket prices go up.

I fe I feel people making over 150,000 a year should be able to afford a deluxe resort .I fthey can't then the resorts are overpriced. Just my opinion
