Wine by the glass vs. bottle

If you order a package, can you have more than one bottle of wine open at a time? My wife prefers white zinfandel while I prefer red wine.

What are the best CHOCOLATE desserts you've had at WDW?

I've not had the chocolate bean selection mentioned previously for V&A's chef's table as we've always just eaten in the main dining area there, BUT they always have had a chocolate souffle on the menu. And they're always to die for. Always. :cool1:

Restaurant Akershus to stop serving lunch, 10/24/04

I pressed to try to get some information, but that's all I got. With the new breakfast, I agree that could be the cause. But don't they still do lunch at CRT after that breakfast? So that made me wonder about the recent changes where they no longer had the hot buffet but they would bring you an...

Restaurant Akershus to stop serving lunch, 10/24/04

We got a call that our PS at Restaurant Akershus would have to be cancelled because effective 10/24/04, they will no longer be serving lunch at this location. They will still be open for the character breakfast and for dinner...just not for lunch. Bummer for us as it has been a tradition...

Help me to explain to Dh that Disney restuarants are casual!

For the restaurants listed, casual park attire is the norm. Victoria and Albert's requires jackets for men and evening wear for women. There are other restaurants with dress codes, however. When I made PS for our upcoming trip at Jiko, California Grill, and Artist Point, I was told that...

    Grand Floridian afternoon tea

We have always wanted to do this. On our upcoming trip, we won't know until the last minute if we have an afternoon free where this would work. Are PS a must, or can you walk in?

Your Opin and Review needed Re: Murder Mystery Dinner at Baskervilles

When we went, we weren't that impressed. By the time you get through the buffet line, you don't have much time to eat before the show begins. We had to make a mad dash to the dessert line during the show, which is difficult to do since the show happens in and among the tables. Just not our...

My Restaurant Choices: How can I fit in Rainforest Cafe & Titanic & Crab House or DD

We've never been able to get by on less than 2 Epcot days. Also, there are fabulous restaurants inside Epcot...no real reason to leave the park for a meal IMO. If you have kids, our kids have enjoyed Marrakech and Biergarten. They even got thru Akershus just fine.

    V&A's wonderful dinner review

Their souffles are to die for; aren't they? On my first visit, I had a chocolate pistacchio souffle. I've gone back several times hoping to have that souffle again and it's never been repeated. However, I've always found a pleasant substitute.:teeth:

just did my candlelight dinner package

This is at Epcot during the holidays. I think there are 3 restaurant groupings of different price ranges. You prepay for dinner and get a PS for the restaurant. You also get a "PS" for a Candlelight Processional performance.

    Victoria and Albert's

We are returning to V&A for our 6th visit in Dec. We considered trying the chef's table for something different, since we've always sat in the dining room, but we again chose the dining room. We just didn't want to lose the romance. V&A is always a highlight of the trip for us. :earsboy: :earsgirl:
