A Disney Cruise Snob has booked a cruise on RCCL!!!

Absolutely keep checking prices. I got $1600 off our next cruise because I was lucky enough to check the website on a day they were having a special. I thought I might need to cancel and rebook to get the discount but the person I spoke to was able to keep the same booking. That $1600 might...

How many supermarkets / grocery stores do you frequent...

I do the bulk of my shopping at Giant and like getting 40 cents off a gallon of gas when they run that promotion. Super Wal*Mart for personal care and most cleaning stuff because they do tend to be cheaper. Wegman's on occasion for special items, Trader Joe's every few weeks.

I feel homeless or maybe in purgatory

Yes, the boards were different back then. I guess you are not using the same name now?

Could you manage without a car?

We live in a rural area with no public transportation, so we need our vehicles. Plus my husband's job pretty much requires him to be able to get there in a hurry.

Hannah picture, the story for those who cared about her

I guess it all boils down to semantics, where a dog is registered, and what a dog is bred for. Even pit bull owners argue the issue. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070519120258AAKTy0f

    Questions about Jury Duty

What you can wear or bring with you probably varies as much as the way jury duty is served. In my area, we have to sit in the jury selection room for a week. Even if you serve on a jury in that week, you go right back into the pool if there is time remaining. We were not allowed cellphones at...

How has the death of a loved one change you?

I am very sorry for your loss. My dad died when I was only 2, so I have no memory of him. My mom died when I was 19 and speaking only from my experience, you will go through phases. Overwhelming sadness and the hole in your heart stay with you for a long while. Then one day, you'll have some...

What about your STATE do you wish the world knew?

When my daughter decided to go to school in New Mexico (and lives there still), I could not believe the number of people who thought she was very brave to pack up and move to a foreign country. We're talking educated people here. Eh, I'll have red chile and some carne adovada, please.

    Help!!! Is my vacation ruined?!

Regardless of the seeming change in story, I'd be having one serious discussion with my husband if he tried suggesting that he stay in the same room with my daughter and her boyfriend when she was 22.

where are all the old timers?

Found the DIS in 1998 through a link when looking for info on the "new" cruise line. One board, a regular poster named Pete, and I had a different name. Whole new ballgame these days so I rarely post anymore but I read now and again.

What kind of music do you really like that you are afraid to admit you like?

Holy cow! Another Voltaire fan here. My daughter is good friends with his studio drummer and drummer for The Odds. She has met Voltaire several times. Is there anything funnier then My Future Ex-Girlfriend or Ex-Lover's Lover. And the classic When You're Evil.
