As most of the people are in the parks this day, it may be a good day to tour the Resorts. We like to go around and look at the decorations at the different resorts, The ginger bread house at the GF and the gingerbread display at the Y&B are really cool.

I have to agree WL is one of my favorite places to stay!! I will warn you that the food there, while good, doesn't have a lot of choices. We quickly got tired of eating the same things. But the ambiance more than makes up for it!

We've stayed a POFQ twice and really like it. The kids love the pool and the food court is top notch. I've only walked through Riverside, so I can't say how the rooms are, but the grounds are nice.

We've never been picked at WDW, but we did get picked at Universal last time we went. We are a family of 4 and we weren't doing anything special just sitting eating a snack before the gates opened. It was it was a great experience plus we were the first ones to the HP ride. :)
