    BBB Tinker Bell Dresses?

Hello all, I am traveling to Disney World with my family in about two weeks, and I have an appointment scheduled at the BBB in MK for my niece already. She has her heart set on a Tinker Bell dress, and I don't know if they still have those as an option. I'm hoping someone who has been recently...

Adding days to someone else's tickets

I'm traveling in a few weeks with a big family group. We all bought 6-day tickets. But DH and I have decided to stay two extra days after everyone else leaves, and so have my parents. DH and I will arrive first, and we plan to kill some time while waiting for everyone else to arrive by going to...

POR Garden View VS. Saratoga Springs 1BDR Villa?? HELP!!

I'd vote SSR as well. You'll have twice the space, which will be nice with so many adults. Ask to be placed in Congress Park, and you'll be a close walk to Disney Springs. And I've never had a problem with the size or layout, even without a car. The only hesitation I'd have is about beds. With...

    looking for your opinions

If it's not a surprise trip, I'd ask your grand-daughter to choose. Does she want to stay near the Magic Kingdom, or near the animals, or near the really great pool? It might add to the excitement if she gets to pick. Just a thought. Because all three are amazing, and you can't really go wrong.

Different credit cards and magic bands

You set up a 4-digit PIN when you set up charging. So no one can charge using your band unless they also know your PIN. Even if it falls off (which probably isn't likely anyway), you'll be safe. Hope that helps!

    Which Moderate Resort?

We did fit in five in one room, but only because the 3yo was actually 2years-10months. He didn't sleep in the pack-n-play though. They brought us a roll-away mattress (no charge, which was nice) that fit on the floor in the bathroom, so he had his own space. With the extra space in the CBR...

    Which Moderate Resort?

I'd suggest checking out CBR. We stayed there as a party of 9 - parents, grandparents, and young children, and we loved it. The rooms are the largest of the moderates, so we had plenty of room for everyone. And the kids LOVED the pool. The 3yo loved the special kids play area with the boat and...

Best character dining for a shy toddler.

My family took my nephew two years ago when he was about that age and very shy as well. On advice from people on these boards, we took him to Crystal Palace near the end of our trip and it was wonderful. The key we learned with shy kids is timing. We made the reservation for the end, so he had...

Should I do online check-in if I requested connecting rooms?

I had the same question, and after all I've read, I'm not doing online check-in. I really want connecting rooms as well. And if I get there and have not been assigned connecting rooms, I'm going to ask them to change it if possible, which means going to the regular check-in line. So I decided...

one week, what do you do before you go?

Thanks for the reminder about the mail!! :thumbsup2 I have a to-do packing list, but keep forgetting to stop the mail. As soon as I read that, I went to usps.com and put in the order. Now I don't have to think about it again. Yay! :woohoo:

when can i book my adr

You can use this website to calculate dates for you. If you are checking in on Nov 2, it looks like you can start making ADRs already (as of May 6). I don't know of a toll-free number either. But you can try using the online dining reservation site. That might help. See what you can do on...

    Why go with a group?

We've only ever done the two-of-us kind of trip before and we love it. But the last time we went, I kept wishing I could show all the wonderful rides and parades and things to my sister's kids (5yo and 2yo). So this summer I've planned a trip for the whole family, my parents, my sister and her...

How many of you run into people you know at Disney?

How funny. When I read the subject line, before I knew you were from Arkansas, I immediately thought, 'we always run into fellow Arkansans!' :thumbsup2 What's great about Arkansans is that even if you've never met them before, you always feel like you know them when you run into them while...

One week to go until I can book our ADRs - and questions

I was able to make my niece's BBB appt on the phone at the same time I made my ADRs. When I was done making ADRs, the CM asked if there was anything else, I mentioned that I needed to make a BBB appt but had a different phone number for that. But the CM said she could do both and took care of it...

    Lemonade Mouth Merchandise

They aren't really selling merchandise yet, aside from the movie, the soundtrack, and the novel the movie was based on. But Disney has a web-based program that lets you make tshirt designs that you can print out and iron on. So if you have kids who are fans, you can help them make their own...

Walk up to Bomas (breakfast) with no res???

I agree that it probably depends on the season. In November, you are probably less likely to have a problem. We stayed there for a week at the end of May 2009 and they were turning people away at breakfast. We would pass Boma on our way to grab a quick breakfast at Mara, and we would hear people...

    Tony's Town Square for Breakfast

I found the prices here. It doesn't have 2011 dates, so it may not have been updated recently, but the prices are probably pretty close. At least you can use them to estimate.

    walk-up at Tony's?

Thanks for the input, everyone. I think I am going to give up Tony's and try to find a table-service for all of us for dinner somewhere nearby. Then if Tony's opens up, fine, but if not I know we will have a place to eat as a family regardless.

    walk-up at Tony's?

Has anyone ever gotten a table for dinner without a reservation at Tony's? Is it an insanely long wait? I currently have a reservation for lunch there on May 31st for two of us. But I'm thinking I'd rather go there for dinner so my whole family can join us (making us a party of 8). There aren't...

    Movies at the All-Star Resorts

I've read on these boards that you can find the information here. They haven't updated it for May yet, so you may not get June's information in time for your trip. But at least it does say movies are being shown at AllStar resorts.
