If I transfer my ressie to a cruise with guarantee with restriction cabins (and book one of those cabins), does my 10% discount still apply, with the OBC?

Do the connecting cabin doors stay open by themselves or do I need to bring something to help them stay open at night? I remember reading a thread a LONG time ago about people bringing bungie cords to keep the doors open at night. Do I need to do that still or do they now stay open?

In October 2008, we booked Cat12 GTY and got upgraded to Cat9 Oceanview - FABULOUS! In October 2010, we booked Cat11 GTY and ended up in the same category. Having the 1st upgrade made us spoiled, and resulted in a little disappointment. But, we were on the Magic and had a great time!!
