    Guarantee with Restrictions

If I transfer my ressie to a cruise with guarantee with restriction cabins (and book one of those cabins), does my 10% discount still apply, with the OBC?

    Connecting Room Doors - Dream

Do the connecting cabin doors stay open by themselves or do I need to bring something to help them stay open at night? I remember reading a thread a LONG time ago about people bringing bungie cords to keep the doors open at night. Do I need to do that still or do they now stay open?

    A Confession! A Little long :)

We had the EXACT same experience, when we cruied Oct 4-11, 2008!! We booked this cruise on line 1.5 years in advance. At work, I talked to everyone and anyone who would listen, so much so, my colleague said "You will be booking your next DCL in less than 3 months!". Well, it only took 10...

Taking kids out of high school

wow - this is a hot topic. We lilve in Canada, so there are no 'state' rules. Final exams are at the end of January. Spring Break is out of the question (mid-March). My DH is an accountant, and taxes need to be done by end of April, so it's a NO on that time! My oldest is quite...

Taking kids out of high school

Help! My DS will be in his 1st year of highschool, when we will be taking our 1st Fantasy cruise, the week before Christmas. This means he will miss 1 week of school. I thought the week before Christmas may be a good time, since perhaps the ciriculum may be a little less rigorous, since it's...

Hello - we booked this cruise as well. This is our 3rd Disney cruise, but a first for many reasons: 1st time on Fantasy, 1st time on Eastern Caribbean, 1st time seeing Disney at Christmas Time! With me is my DH, 2 DS (14, 12) and DD (11). We will be on deck 7, forward - Late Dining.

    December 15, 2012 A Yo-HO-HO-HO Holiday Fantasy!

The latest is "Swaan," who is a Dis-er but has apparently not yet posted on this thread. :confused3 :welcome: Welcome, Swaan! It's me...Swaan (Sandra). We are from Toronto, Canada, and travelling with my DH, and 3 kids (DS 13, DS 11, DD 10). I booked with as a dummy date, and now hoping...

    Panama Canal Cruises

Just wondering.....now that the Wonder has moved over to the west side, do you think Disney will continue to offer the Panama Canal cruises? After trying to convince DH to do a Transatlantic, he finally said he would consider the Panama Canal cruise, but not sure if that's an option now...

    Transatlantic Cruises

I would LOVE to do the transatlantic one day (WB for sure!!), but my DH is leary of the weather and rough seas for 6 straight days at sea. Any input on your experiences would be great to calm him down a bit!! thanks.

How often does the "upgrade fairy" appear?

In October 2008, we booked Cat12 GTY and got upgraded to Cat9 Oceanview - FABULOUS! In October 2010, we booked Cat11 GTY and ended up in the same category. Having the 1st upgrade made us spoiled, and resulted in a little disappointment. But, we were on the Magic and had a great time!!

2 SPH rooms on the MR for $3134.04!!!!

We too booked 2 SPH cabins on the March 11, 2012 cruise (Spring Break for us Canucks), for $3,160 (total price), for 5 passengers! This includes the on-board booking incentives (10% off + $200 OBC per cabin + $75 OBC per cabin from Dreams Unlimited). I've been watching the prices for 5...

Odd Question - Disney Watch purchased on last cruise

My Mickey watched stopped working while on board (I had bough it on board 2 years earlier). They do NOT replace batteries on watches, regardless of the watch, and where it was purchased. I was advised to have the battery replaces while in port. Sandra

    Can you combine....?

I think I know the answer, but hoping for a yes on this one! We recently rebooked another cruise last week while on board (a dummy date). If a kids sail free offer comes up, can we move the ressie, so that we get the kids sail free + the OBC's? I don't think so, but just...
