What is considered dressy for restaurants like Artist Point?

We have ADRs for Artists Point. They told me it is "dressy" but I'm not sure what that means in WDW. I want to pack lightly and also wear comfortable clothes. Would a brand new pair of velour pants and a sequined sweater be considered dressy enough? Or do I need to pack dress pants? Can I wear...

    Problem with La Nouba Tickets

Follow up: The problem was fixed! :) If you're in a similar situation, call the first thing on Monday morning. I had to wait 45 minutes and talk to 4 different people, but finally a woman named China at the la Nouba office was able to straighten it out. Apparently not only were these...

Any thoughts at all on this?

    Problem with La Nouba Tickets

Hi--hope somebody has some advice for me. When I was making my ADRs, my customer service rep offered to make our La Nouba reservations as well. Sounded like a good idea. Unfortunately, she ordered the wrong tickets for us! We asked for the $75 tickets, and that's what she said she ordered...

Help My Plan Something Special To Do At Each Resort

We're only doing the theme parks minimally. We've been to WDW once before, and been to Disneyland lots of times, so we know what rides we like. I know it sounds funny, but we're not interested in most of the rides at the theme parks (just a few really good ones), so we get through the parks...

Help My Plan Something Special To Do At Each Resort

Great suggestions, everyone. Tell me more about the bicycles. Since I'm visiting all the resorts, which one would be the best one to rent a bicyle at? Where can you ride to?

Favorite Places To Eat that DO NOT require ADRS

Thanks everyone--I just realized the term for what I want is CS (stands for counter service) and there are lots of CS threads. Thanks to those of you who were kind to tihs newbie and posted the info again. I really appreciated it.

Help My Plan Something Special To Do At Each Resort

The appeal of the piano guy at POR is it's something to do at night after the parks close. We've also heard the sushi bar at the Swan has karaoke. Anyone gone to this? Was it fun? I'm still looking for something fun to do at Caribbean Beach. I guess we could walk around the little island...

Help My Plan Something Special To Do At Each Resort

Thanks! Does PF 1900 near an ADR? What kind of food do they have? I forgot to add Swan & Dolphin. Any suggestions for things to do there?

Help My Plan Something Special To Do At Each Resort

We'll be at WDW December 11-16 and thought it would be fun to visit each resort to see the Christmas decorations and also to do something special or unusual at each resort. Any suggestions? Here's my list so far. Any opinions on these activities? Were they worth doing or not so much fun? BTW...

Favorite Places To Eat that DO NOT require ADRS

Is there any place good to get a sandwich near the Port of Orleans complex? We were thinking of spending some time over there and maybe renting a kayak to go up and down the Sassagoula River.

Favorite Places To Eat that DO NOT require ADRS

What are some of your favorite places to eat that do not require ADRs? Any type of food or service. A hot dog cart or a snack stand is fine, if you know of a good one--as long as it serves something I could eat for lunch. Also, are you generally better off grabbing a snack at a resort or at...

    Artist Point or Brown Derby?

That sounds like what we want! We can only afford two expesnive meals, and the rest of the time we're going to have to find less expensive places. So I guess we'll go with Boma, Artist Point, various snack stands, and Captain's Grill.

    Artist Point or Brown Derby?

OK, sounds like I'm cancelling Brown Derby. As long as I'm on the phone, are there any suggestions for another restaurant we might like? We need something we can book for December 11-15. Any location is fine, since we intend to visit all the resorts, anyway, to see the christmas decorations...

Richard Petty Nascar Experience. Worth it?

We are 2 adults visiting in December. We've been to WDW years ago and done the theme parks, so this trip we'd like to do a few new things. We are thinking of kayaking on the Sassagoula (or maybe trying the mouse jet skis). Also cirque du soleil and the Osborne lights. One other thing that...

    Artist Point or Brown Derby?

Hi! We are making our first trip to Disneyworld, and did not realize we needed to make ADRs 180 days in advance. As a result we did not get into most of the restaurants that usually get recommended (although we did get into Boma!) Anyway, among those that were available were Brown Derby and...
