Just took a DCL survey from my recent cruise and was asked if I would be interested in taking possible future cruise leaving from NY to Bermuda, NY to FL Bahamas and CC, NY to SC FL Bahamas CC, Galveston to FL Bahamas CC, Galveston to Grand Cayman Mexico CC. Thought this was interesting.
We were on the Magic Eastern on Oct 23-30 and our dinner rotation was Parrot Cay, Lumiere's, Animator's. Yours could be completely different from ours though. We booked Palo on Thursday night, the last sea day. The show at Animators is usually on your first rotation through and Pirate night is...
Another reason for this would be that the cheaper outside staterooms are located Forward and Aft where there is more movement of the ship felt. Outside staterooms located midship would cost more than the Inside staterooms.
We were just on the Magic on the 23rd Eastern and thought the ship looked very good, especially for her age. Disney works constantly on the upkeep of the ship. Compare the Magic to a 12 yr old Carnival and it would be night and day. The Magic was our first ship and it was sad to think this was...
I agree about the chair thing. My family just got off the Magic yesterday and were on Deck 8 below the area next to the Mickey slide and noise heard was from chairs being moved around and the occasional person running. Not horrible, but noticeable.
My family just got off the Magic yesterday from the Eastern Caribb. and we had the roughest seas of any cruise yet. Anyone's experience, is that typical for October? Normally we forget we are on the ocean after day 1 or 2, but this time you felt it the whole cruise. BTW, we just booked Fantasy...
Tip thing, I doubt. However, I agree with you that we should be able to see our accounts without visiting the service desk. Hate that shock. Never knew my wife and I could drink so much in a week :rotfl2:
Enjoy your cruise on the Dream, we go in Oct 2011, tomorrow is the Magic :thumbsup2
CC= Castaway Cay. I realized my own mistake. The Magic LAST reported it's location at 5am on it's way to Castaway Cay. I leave tomorrow on an Eastern 7 day.
Using the cruise ship locator shows the Magic still on it's way back from the Western Caribbean!!! Anyone know why? Shouldn't it be docked at CC right now? I'll be on the Magic tomorrow, hopefully no problems
Rainforest Room, sun bathe, take a nap, catch a movie, go for a swim, get drunk, play ping pong, etc etc. So much to do, but with life being so hectic JUST RELAX AND ENJOY THESE MOMENTS WITH NOTHING TO DO!!! :cool1::thumbsup2
I'm with ya on that. We are on the Eastern 23rd, and I'm worried about our Day 6 Castaway visit. The track may have it crossing Florida around the day we would be at CC or arriving back at Port Canaveral. I'm sure you will be fine for yours.
We are Silver CC members and have the Dream booked for Oct 2011 through AAA. We paid the $200pp deposit. Question, are the prices better on the ship? And if we book onboard for the same date, can the existing reservation be transferred and take advantage of the better deal, or do we have to...
