    Heeleys Not Allowed in Parks

I vote for a $150 fine for all children caught running, too! Throw 'em all in jail! :cool1:

    National Geographic Slams Walt

This article is just another slam from the Earth First crazies, who would rather see us all live in thatch huts eating roots dug out of the ground with our fingers. The article is nicely wrapped up in nice comfy buzzwords, but the theme is pretty obvious, that being "People are bad". By using...

How to avoid being an obsessed drill sargent

I am the world's worst over-planner, as well. After a couple of "max planned" trips to Disney, I have finally figured it out (much too late, according to my family). Here are the "magic" words to plan by: 1. GET THERE EARLY! Be at the gate 30 minutes before scheduled opening. This is the...

EPCOT on NYE - Latest Time to Get There??

Yes, we are crazy to go to EPCOT on NYE. That said, we would like to go later in the morning. With the typical max crowds on hand, does anyone know what time we need to be inside the gate before the park reaches max capacity?

    Healies at Epcot

After reading all these rants about banning heelies, I totally agree. And Disney should also ban running of any kind, as well as any other type of fast physical movement by kids. Speed walking would be okay, but no trotting, walking backward, sideways, or eating at the same time. The CM's...

Oh no, have to go in summer....tell me when.

Be at the park you are visiting that day when the gates open. Leave at lunch and come back around six pm and close it out. It's amazing how much more you will enjoy the experience using this "afternoon siesta" approach, and you will still have plenty of energy the next day.

    Family of 5

Get by with the smallest space you can. 1. You won't do anything in the room besides sleep and change clothes. 2. Save the $$ and do some excursions.

Questions about GREAT BAY in St. Maarten

We've gone over there twice and had a good time. It's a lot quieter and much less crowded. There are some rental stuff there, along with restrooms and a snack bar. The snorkeling along the east side of the bay is nice. Watch out for all the fire coral, though.

    the negatives

There are no negatives that apply to DCL more so than other cruise lines. Disney is clearly at the top, both from ship material condition and service. There is no gambling on Disney ships. Maybe that's a negative for some folks!

    Directions to the Port

It is really easy getting to the port. You can see the ship off the port bow (couldn't resist) and the signs/directions at the exits are big and easy to follow....

What is the rule for reserving lounge chairs

Just have a seat in a chair and don't worry about it. If someone shows up, just be nice and only move if you want to. If they are unpleasant, keep being nice. And then tell them to go discuss it with a CM. Kill 'em with kindness!

    Next best "family" cruises?

We did three DCL's before our last RCCL on Explorer of the Seas. Our next cruise is the March 10, 2007 Western on the Magic. "Nuff said!

    Matching T-Shirts for Cruising!

I read somewhere on this board that green is the most popular color by far. You might want to consider a different color for your group....;)

Inlaws cruising soon- Gift for them?

I wish I could help. The only thing I can think of if it were my in-laws after 24 years would be a piece of rope and an anchor. Arrgghh.pirate: Okay, okay. JUST KIDDING! (Admit it, though. Some of you thought that was funny!):rotfl2:
