May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

We are Canadian (East Coast) and booked this one. Couldn't book last time as it was sold out. We obtained Gold last Jan with our southern cruise and so was able to book as Gold yesterday. Very pleased!

Historically PSD are released early October (once saw it released even end of Sept). I am staying PO as well (flights booked Feb 27 to Mar 6) and watching to see if PSD would work out better than what I have which is currently park tickets and accommodations at PO and going OOP for food. I...

    February 2019 Discount Watch

If I have something booked already for end of Feb/Mar 2019 and want to take advantage of PSD - I am guessing that I would have to cancel what I have and rebook - therefore forcing the new ticket pricing?

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

Hi - just wanted to thank everyone for posting their cataract experience here. I had both my eyes done just recently and am doing fine. It certainly wasn't a "magical" experience and I am glad it is over and done with. Can't wait to see DW with my new eyes - but it'll have to wait for...

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

Do you know whether those who opt for multifocal lens are happy with them? I am co sideri g the new Symfony lenses for cataract surgery. I read some reviews where people are happy with them and others have night vision issues with glare and halos. Should people stick with monofocal lenses...

    Cataract surgery

I am having to have cataract surgery in July. Having trouble deciding on the lenses. Do you know if you got monofocal lenses or multifocal lenses. Was told the monofocal lenses would be covered under Medicare but multifocal would be additional e lenses. Did you continue to see halos at night...

    Cataracts in only 1 eye

If you don't my asking what type of lens did you get that you don't need glasses. I have cataracts both eyes - one eye I see 20/70 and the other 20/60. I thought I had to choose a replacement lens where I could see distance and then wear glasses for near/intermediate or opt for reverse. I...

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

I live in Canada. Here after cataract surgery you are provided a card to carry on your wallet. Lens type as well as other medical info on the cataract surgery is on that card.

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

Thanks so much for sharing your experience- hoping mine goes just the same. Do you recall what type of lenses you got? Sounds like if you had an out of pocket expense you opted for multifocal ones. So much on the cataract forums is very negative (might be people who are happy with them never...

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

Don't think the IV is for anything but to semi sedate you. I have a prescription for Ativan so don't think I will have sedation by IV (although not sure if Ativan is enough to calm the nerves. Your eye is numbed with drops from my understanding but I could be wrong.

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

I don't think where I live they sedate you by UV. They gave me a prescription for Ativan that I can choose to take or not. Surgeon numbs your eye. Sure hoping mine goes as well as yours.

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

Funny how we are all so different. I feel like Eeryore (depressed) and having to be pushed there! My mistake was seeing the operation on you tube. Can't imagine it's painless although most people like you have said it isn't. I work with a computer 80% of my day. I drive home 6 months of...

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

Thanks very much for your feedback. I have bee n wearing glasses for 40 years so the plan is to do 2nd eye once First has healed (surgeon said about a week's time) - although I know for many that it takes more than a week to heal. In Canada the surgery itself is covered by our healthcare...

    Anyone had cataract surgery?

I think the surgeons are far too busy to take time to discuss your concerns or even give you options. I was literally blindsided with the diagnosis of cataracts. Went to my optometrist in Jan thinking I just needed stronger glasses. I started googling and going on patient forums for...

VERY anxious about upcoming cataract surgery

Not sure how Obamacare works and what it covers. But some are able to see near and far due to multifocal lenses (in Canada these are not covered by our Medicare system or insurance companies- there is additional costs). With the ones covered by Medicare (monofocal lenses) these are normally...
