Wow. Just got a quote for a week rental for $300 (around $42 per night) per cart, we are renting 2 carts. That's a big price hike. I rented last January and it was $240 per cart. Has anyone paid approx $300 per week or $42 per night?

Spoke to CM and he says that more merchandise is to come in the next month. Hopefully they bring in some other items ( license plates, shirts, spare tire covers, etc). The caps are awesome, I have been coming to The Fort for 10 years and I have never seen caps.

Thanks Bama Ed. This is not good news. We have been there on Halloween and loved the GC parade. We were looking forward to the July 4th GC parade, what a bummer! I guess I'll decorate my cart and do my own GC Parade :)

Heading up to The Fort for July 4th week. Would like to know what activities they will have that day/week. I heard there is a golf cart parade, would like to know what time and where. Also, do they have a celebration at the beach area for the fireworks like they do for New Years?

Saw this on Ebay. They state that the merchandise just arrived yesterday at the Medows. Hope they are bringing other stuff as well. If anyone is out there at the Fort, please send pictures of the merchandise...

Kenny is the Man! Been renting from him for 8 years or so. Not as convenient as Disney, but for half the price, I'll make the effort. I usually rent 2 carts, so when you add up the savings for a week it makes sense.

Loop 800 is my favorite. Lots of large sites, creek rides along the back of most outer loop sites. Large dog walk area, and it is one of the sites that is most decorated. Every Time we are there, we see lots of decorations and the classic Mickey lamps.

Just had mine up for the first time at The Fort this past week. It makes the campsite feel warm and welcoming. I made the sign holder from some tree limbs in my back yard and I also used some smaller limbs that I found at the Fort on my last visit. It was not hard to make, just a bit of patience...
