The rooms are cute but I think they are in the furthest building, which makes for a long walk. I recall reading that that building was always hard to fill because of location, so they turned them into pirate rooms to increase the appeal.

I'd do the value too....just to be on disney property as quickly as possible! And spending the night at MCO may be a bummer when you are hyped up about the trip.

We found that to be the case this year too! We went the 1st week of february and it was crowded. Our last trip that time was 2011 and it was so wonderful and quiet. however, it's been my experience that the parks are more crowded the last two years...even during traditionally slow times.
