Can you share a place you couldnt wait to eat but was a huge letdown

Tiffins at Animal Kingdom. I had the surf & turf. I asked for a medium rare steak. It came out pretty much medium to well done. And the lobster was chewy and so bland!!! Also wasn’t hot. Just warm. Like it was sitting out for a whole. I was so excited to try signature/fine dining. My husband...

    Ariel Character Meet and Greet

I’ve done something similar. But this was in Disneyland almost 8 years ago. My son accidentally broke his Woody toy. We got a new one and brought it with us to Disney and when we went to the meet and greet, we asked the handler to give Woody to...Woody and make it seem like he “found” the toy...

    Mickey Halloween.party?

They close the park 4-5 hours early so that people with Halloween Party tickets get to enjoy the whole park for 4-5 hours. Most rides are open. And they have a special fireworks show and also a parade just for the Halloween Party goers. There's also trick-or-treating. And free parking comes...

Reminder to check your car rental rates! Possible price drops!

So very true! But I think they're starting to climb back up. DH was checking prices last month and they were at $250+ for 8 days Economy car. And last week (on a Weds) it went all the way down to $136 (w/Costco coupon or something)! Then he checked the next day it went down to $116. Then the...

qustion about Mickeys Halloween party and costumes...

Of course!!! You paid for your ticket! I'd be upset if they didn't allow adults to wear costumes. LOL. But I think they do have some restrictions on costumes. Here is the info I found from the site: Costume Information All event attendees — including adults — may dress in their favorite...

Well, we'll be going to LL the day before (9/30). But I just found out that they're having a Brick or Treat thing on Saturdays starting Oct, and since our tickets come w/2nd day free...we thought, might as well go and check it out for 3-4 hours. LOL. :confused3 Can't hurt. My son loves legos...

Disneyland to Legoland and back -- traffic help from locals?

Thinking of doing the same thing, but on a Saturday (10/1). Thinking of leaving Disneyland area around 11AM and then leaving Carlsbad at 4PM. Would that give me about 3-4 hrs in the park? Or is that crazy talk?

DisSarahK - Thanks so much! But I actually called Legoland earlier today to see if they would send me a map. And they said they would! :cool1: I really don't know why I never tried calling and asking. LOL! I think it's cauze Disneyland doesn't mail out maps so I assumed other parks didn't...

    Choose 2 please

Well, I heard 2nd showings of F! on Sundays usually have fewer people and it's perfect since fireworks usually end right before the first F! starts. So you can ride some rides after fireworks. Pirates and Haunted Mansion, perhaps? Usually walk-on at that time. And then when it's done, just grab...
