Sailed on Liberty in the Med last year with DW, DD was 8 and DS was 11 and we all thoroughly enjoyed the ship and all the fun activities and facilities available.
You need to go to the restaurant reservations desk as soon as you get onboard to book one of the character breakfasts; last year...
We have used suntransfers for the last 3 years and have always been delighted with the service and price.
We have them booked again for our trip on the Magic July 26th :cool1:
If your staying pre or post cruise, you need to book 2 separate trips as the 'roundtrip' option assumes you are...
Well said, but sadly easier said than done :(
Sadly those 12 wonderful days will pass far too quickly for my liking, so we just have to savour every moment
Yes, just turn up either before or after dinner, depending on main or late seating.
I hear the late seating has been pushed back to 8.45pm for the med cruises this year.
If your on main you go to the second show and if your dining on the late seating you would go to the first show.
26th...
Site is back up but still incorrect itinerary in the activities planner.
This is currently showing as an 11 night cruise!
I'm surprised that any Gold/Platinum members have not noticed the a port of call is missing - they would have started booking 15 days ago, wouldn't they?
Thanks for confirming I'm not going mad.
I noticed there were no activities available for Malta too. I guess if they are aware of the issue, they are doubtless working towards fixing it.
I've just logged into my reservation to book some activities etc and noticed that Mykonos is not listed in the itinerary.
I first started to panic when I saw disembarkation was on Aug 6th... I thought I had messed up the days!
Has anyone else noticed this?
I'm going call DCL today to check...
On 2 previous cruises from Barcelona, I have used Suntransfers.com
They have been friendly and reliable and you have the peace of mind that there are no lengthy taxi queues to contend with.
We are booked too! Did Magic in the Med August 2011 and couldn't resist a 12 night including Greece and Turkey. Great Itinerary and a fantastic ship.
Plenty of research to do plus the excitement of discovering what they are doing to the Magic during an exceptional 6 week dry dock this September.
I saw the vid on youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVllLhio3Sg
Shows the final fitting still being completed and the float out from the covered shipyard.
Hi shmoogrrrl, of course you can add us to the first post.
The Med Cruise was amazing, shame DCL are not there this year and now my wife has always wanted to do a Med Cruise Including Venice - 2013 Magic is doing that itinerary and its a 12 night, however the cost is extremely high.
Having...
Hi We will be sailing with you on this cruise.
There are 4 of us, myself, DW and DD9, DS11.
Were on the Magic in the Med 2010 and planned for it again out of NY this August but had to switch.
Really looking forward to getting on the Fantasy and the kids can't wait to ride the Aquaduck and...
I also spoke to Captain John on the 27th Aug med cruise and he mentioned that 2013 would see the Magic in Barcelona again but cruising through Venice and Croatia. If it happens I'll be ready to book!
Just returned from the amazing 27th August Med cruise and we were chatting to Justin and Alex (Northern Lights Duo) and they told us it was just the top 800 sales people of this Mexican company.
They were concerned how empty the ship would be and the prospect of playing to completely empty...
I think you are right. The guidelines given for a 7 night cruise total $84 per guest. For a family of 4 that would equate to $336 total gratuities for the cruise (obviously that is the minimum, more can be given at your discretion).
Hey Casey
Haven't really thought about the transfer back to the airport, assumed I take a taxi.
I guess it's one of the last two travel plans - Transfers and a Hotel in Barcelona for the night before the cruise.
Hi Casey
Good to have someone with the same schedule!
Did you book with Iberia? We're on the 6.25am out of Heathrow on 26th and the 11.40am back on the 3rd. Apparently they are BA flights.
Thanks Lynne, thats all I needed to know.
Just bought the flights at a bargain price, I'll be in Barcelona at 9.25am on Friday before the cruise.
Just need to book the hotel now and Im all organised! Yipee
