we cancelled ours 2yrs ago when we moved here to Hawii we had it in 2 vehicles and we still get letters to come back for 25.00 for 6 months .. I miss it and would jump on the deals in a heartbeat if they serviced hawaii.. which they don't :(

I have lived on island for 2yrs now.. really anytime is a good time to visit.. its more crowded in waikiki in the summer months.. but Aulani is FAR from Waikiki so unless you go into waikiki you wont have any problems.. winter months are more rainy for us but the showers are typically short...

well hubby decided that since he got an ipad for his birthday we should wait and reveal Aulani to DS and DD on Tuesday for DS birthday instead of doing it for hubbys birthday.. SSSOOOO now the wait is on.. I might cave and do it monday night since hubby will be at work all day tuesday lol...

looks like lots of fabulous suggestions.. Make sure for anyone coming in the future if you are going town bound (towards honolulu) on the H1 wait until after 8am.. and then going back towards Aulani on the H1 head back before 3 or avoid the times 3-7 otherwise you will hit a lot of traffic :)...

you can watch most shows online free at the network website .. mind you i said most.. i have both hulu and netflix .. i would go with netflix if I had to choose just one.

yah they JUST took it down because the bases combined to now be "joint base pearl harbor/hickam" we like to go over and check out the ships and subs :) my kids love going over to the barbers point area.. they surf white plains quite a bit. :) our fav restaurant is big kahunas pizza :)...

yup anna millers is still there :) we are a joint base now and they took the fencing down between the two bases. but yes i agree it is way different going between the two bases :)
