The other thing that helped a TON was that his first time to ride we were the only ones on the ride. That meant no one was screaming as we went up and down. If you can, try and go early so maybe yours will be less crowded.

being "photogenic" is so not important. documenting your family is very important. :) shoot video, take photos, you'll always be glad that you did.

we went the first 2 weeks of october. the parks were slower. we totally scored an empty tower of terror car. :) we had a bibbidi bobbidi boutique appointment that morning an hour before the park opened.

hey it's a great song to use. very easy to pick up. offers both male and female vocals and has a "group" element to it. ALSO, the chorus is easy enough that you can just start singing it on a ride or at a spot without having to pull out an iphone with the actual song and it should sync up...

our kids already knew most of the song. we would then have it playing on an iPhone in our pocket or nearby fort hem to "sing along" with. the hardest part was not stressing out over if they got it just right or not. "close enough" is perfect.

yeah "in character" would be great and props are a no go. we are not lugging stuff all over the parks. :) ex: one time we all stood next to sully and blocked mike wazowski from being seen.

disney does make it "harder" (translation: more expensive) for our family of 6 to stay on site. but once we found out that was available to us at Windsor Hills we never looked back. :) it's a no brainer for us. we can take 2 disney trips for less than the price of 1 just by staying offsite.
