Thanks for the responses. Neither excursion was in Rome. One was the Cannes, Grasse, St. Paul in France and the other was in Livorno visiting Puccini's lake house. I know we will still have a great time, just a little surprised as we haven't experienced this before with DCL. Thanks again!

We were there in mid August and the construction was right outside of our window and was a problem for us. But we asked to be moved away from the noise and they were very accomodating. They moved us to the Yacht club which was very quiet
