Anna & Elsa - What if child doesn't have fastpass?

Whoa, I wouldn't cancel it. Keep trying for another one that overlaps. It is entirely possible a single will open up for overlapping. The website and app both let you "copy" your FP+ to another member in your part, so keep trying that.

    September A&E/SDMT FP+ Cancellation Thread

I can't believe it, us too for Thursday the 25th (5people) and another family of 4 for the same day. What is going on?! I really hope it is not a glitch.

Is there a way to do a "practice run" with making FP+?

Yes, if you have tickets linked to your account, you should be able to make you can make a reservation for FP+ for the next thirty days from today. You can simply make reservation for a dummy day to learn the system. Just please make it for the least popular rides, cancel it ASAP and don't do...

Is staying up til midnight really necessary for FPs?

Sorry, to your original point, there are still many options available this morning. I would assume November shouldn't be too different. You likely don't need midnight, but I would suggest waking up early.

Is staying up til midnight really necessary for FPs?

A&E were completely gone last night by 12.15 for my 60day checking and the next 6 days if my trip. 12.15! For September!

    second guessing gift card buying...

They don't. They stopped several years ago. You also cannot use your cards to buy other disney gift cards. I tried every way I could think of last year to combine my 20 cards with no luck.

Ever go on a ride with a character?

Another one for Anastasia on the carousel. Was in FL with DD when it opened one morning and all of the tremaines were on. Everyone got strapped on and then there was an issue for the ride and it took 10minutes to start. The sisters put on quite the show whining and complaining about the ride...

September- please convince me it's a good idea!

Hi, I am from NYC. I know how you feel, I had the same hesitation last year. We went sept 26rh to oct 4 th. It was hot and humid but we dealt with it. No rain. No love bugs. Get it the park early, tailor your plan to hit the air conditioned rides/ lines at the hot time of the day. Or if...

"Possible Opening Date For "Rivers of Light"

Still, two years is a long time considering they can be working on multiple aspects concurrently. The production planning can be gong on simultaneously with construction. My big fear is that this will be a hard ticket event.

Easywdw vs. touring why are #'s so different??

OP, I do not have an answer for your specific question, but thought I would chime in on your underlying issue. I too have anxiety about parks and crowds. Not terrible, but enough that low crowds really make a difference. Not just for rides, but counter service, waiting for transportation,etc...

    Which would you skip?

Here's a different answer, you say four full days. I assume that means you aren't going on your travel days. Can you change that? Increasing your tickets from four to five days is not that incrementally expensive, like $10! For an extra $10 each you can hit MK for an extra half day.

Fellow September Dissers - What's the expectation

I went the last week of September last year. It is still hot. I recommend rope drop. There are crowds and heat to beat until 12ish. Then you can either take a break, or have an early lunch & schedule you FP+ for the 12-3 time periods. On days we went to DHS it wasn't feasible for is to...

Brace yourselves October people, it's going to be crowded...

They are theorizing that there must already be a high number of reservations and therefore Disney decided it did not need to offer an additional incentive.

    Character Experiences

On our last trip we got to MK at rope drop on a EMH morning. The at Tremaine family opened and rode the carousel with guests. My daughter it to ride on a horse next to Anastasia and was beside herself. That was a pretty cool interaction and completely unexpected. I'm sure it is a common...

How The Great Movie Ride Could Be Great Again

I haven't been on the rise since I was a kid, but I would imagine that a limiting factor in updating it is that Disney doesn't have the right to use most of the movies out there.

    disney gift cards

For those of you who realize that the 5% red card discount plus 5% pharmacy discount is a 9.5% discount and not 10% thank you for restoring my faith in our education system! When paying by phone, it takes a while. You need to read the card number and scratch off for the PIN number as well...

    The new MK Princess Parade

Right I would still want the princesses in the parade, but they could consolidate them into 2-3 floats. Right now my understanding is that the float units are (from memory, likely not the exact order) Princess Garden (snow white, Cindy, belle, their princesses and Anna and Elsa hanging onto...

    The new MK Princess Parade

Another move that leaves me scratching my head. I'm sure guests would have been happier, and Disney recouped its investment faster, had they spent 1.5billion on ride refurbs, park expansions or even a fifth gate. But that's been discussed as nauseum here. My current issue is with the new...

1 Ride You Would Bring Back/Create

My idea would be to repurpose Peter Pan as a 'classic storybook' ride. It would be a similar track ride but each room would be like entering a page on a story book and each page/room would be a recreation of a scene from an extinct ride. A Mr Toad scene, Snow White, Peter Pan, maybe have the...
