I wouldn't jump on you for saying we shouldn't have tax breaks for parents. That's certainly nicer than your original statement that parents shouldn't "expect" tax breaks. Like the average mom is out there writing the tax laws.

Less than 24 hours now. Changed my finish from 4:30 to 4:15 and joined the pace team. Also moved my daughter to a faster time for the half. I'll be representing with a lime green Mickey on my bib. :)

Results are up and....PR!!! 24:45, my previous best in a 5k was 8:53/mile and I brought it down to 7:57. I wondered why I was so tired. :) Now I need a new goal....hmm....

Great job, everybody! My daughter and I decided last minute to do a 10k on Thanksgiving. Got there for the 9 am start and realized she didn't have her shoes. She said she was fine with watching me but I had seen the competitive spirit start in her eyes as we drove past people warming up. ;)...

Good job! My daughter did pretty well in an 8k trail run last week. When I looked at the finish line pics I was surprised to see a guy with a dog finishing ahead of her. Can't imagine pulling that off without getting tangled in the leash or something but...some people have skills. LOL
