    Newport Bay or Sequoia Lodge

Hi all, long time no see! We're in the midst of planning a trip for our DD's 5th birthday in January. Can't decide between NPB or SL. We could do Golden Forest for the same price as a standard room in NPB. Any help very appreciated!!

    Save our feet!

I usually wear Uggs in the winter months - we usually go in March. Go Walks for the summer - I'm going to get a new pair this weekend actually ready for my June trip (give me time to wear them in a bit!)

Thanks both! Beyond excited!! We had "afternoon tea" at CF in 2014 - Mickey waffles - they were amazing! Definitely doing that again :) Also definitely getting the colour poster if I can find it! Really pleased the security is tight and great news re tsum tsums! Do they do any special DLP ones?

    Back.....

I suppose I have time on my side to make our decision. If I was due to go soon I would definitely postpone. I love, love, love DLP but I want to go and relax, enjoy the magic and be carefree. I don't want to be watching over my shoulder constantly, scared to separate from dh or the children etc etc.

Will the Attacks In Paris Make You Scared to Visit DLP?

Not sure at all. I don't want to go to my happy place and be scared or very vigilant. I want a carefree, magical time.

    Back.....

Sorry your stay was ruined :( can I ask what made you return home early? If the park reopens on Wednesday you'd have a couple of park days before Saturday? Just wondering if you felt safe really!

Eurostar Issues and other traffic woes - 2/9/15

So concerning. I really hope things calm down soon, someone is going to end up seriously injured or worse :( We're waiting to book our method of transport until at least the New Year, ideally would like to do Dover-Calais but we may do Dover-Dunkirk or even Portsmouth-Caen.

Please help - breaking up the drive.

We're planning on driving next March. Last time we did it we did it wrong for us - we travelled to Dover, stopped "overnight" and got a ferry at 3am. It was hell waking the kids and we were so, so tired! So next year we're driving to Dover on the Wednesday - it will take us about 4 hours, then...

    Terrorist Attack in France

Been thinking today about the security at DLP, do we think its enough? Scary times ahead I think, but something has to be done.

Heads up, good prices on hotels.com

I booked through Travel Republic in the end, £1 deposit!!! I've put the other £650 in my savings account until it needs paying on 2nd March, better in my pocket than theirs :)
