    Experiences at Dream Oceaneer's Club?

Just got back from the Dream yesterday. I was not crazy about the kids area (sorry) :sad2:. My 3 1/2 year old seemed lost. My 8 year old plays well independently and mostly entertained herself with the video games and a few of the "labs". Neither of my children stayed in the club very much...

We must be neighbors! Been to that Chick-Fil-A several times and know someone who works there! Small world. We leave today for our Dream cruise (departing Sunday).

Am I The Only Dummy To Buy DCL Trip Insurance?

I had to cancel our Disney cruise back in October due to my daughter getting sick and having to be hospitalized. She was released from the hospital prior to the cruise but not physically able to go. We had the DCL insurance and although I felt as if I were faxing a book of forms, doctor's...

Can't get the room I want on the dream!

Just curious, did you speak directly to a TA or DCL or are you just looking online? Sometimes the online reservations do not show all the available rooms. Just a thought. Good luck and hope it all works out for you. :thumbsup2

Anyone Ever Use Small World Vacations To Book??

I've used SWV and have no complaints. Caylie has been great with return e-mails and even helped me through a cancellation I had to make two weeks before our cruise back in October. Very helpful. :jumping1:

    DCL Insurance Claim Experiences

I had to file a claim in September to cancel our October cruise (about 3 weeks ahead of time). I had to cancel due to my daughter's health and had no problems being reimbursed. DCL reimbursed everything except the cancellation fees (deposit and then 50 percent of the cruise), then the...

    AquaDuck--4 decks tall??

Anyone heard of a weight limit on the Aquaduck? I know about the height. Just wondering about the weight for Adults.

    Cruise congestion claustrophobia

The main time I have ever felt claustrophobic was at the muster drills. I would suggest arriving early and then just step back and let the crowd leave when it's over and take your time getting back. I haven't been on Disney before (going in February) so I'm not sure how their procedure is for...

    February Weather?

I had to cancel my cruise for October, d/t my daughter's health. :sad1: We rebooked for February 13th on the Dream, but now I'm concerned about how cold it will be. I went on my very first cruise many years ago in April and it was so cold my daughter turned blue from being in the kiddie pool...

    Lounge chair hogging question

These boards are great to "live and learn" from. I think if this happens to me, I'm gonna see if I can find a CM and have THEM remove the stuff, that way I can tell the owners, sorry but the CM move your stuff, thus leaving the chair available. :thumbsup2

How early to priceline? Newbie question

One thing to remember, too, is the dates you need may be a holiday weekend, a big event week or there could be a shuttle launch (I read there is one in February). I paid $75 for the CIS for October, but felt this was good because we are going on Columbus Day weekend and only for the Saturday...

    Babies on Board?

When I took my son (he was 16 months at the time) his fare was basically port fee and taxes. That was with NCL. It's not the cruise line when it comes to that, it's the gov't stuff. Can't remember what we tipped, but I think it was half of what they recommended for Adults. Oh, and...
