    Dieting and Discouraged

Don't be discouraged--because you are doing great things for your body by eating right and exercising!!! Keep doing this and the losses will come!! Could you be near that time of month? I know that always caused a bump up in the scales for me, but it's usually followed by a nice "whoosh"...

Ooops, I hit reply too soon! Meant to add that it sounds like everyone has a good plan for getting through the weekend! That's the main thing--recognizing that you need a plan and then putting it into place! That makes it much easier to stay OP when you are out of your ordinary routine...

Lose 5 in April Challenge-134.7 lbs. Lost

I weighed in early this week, because we're going out of town for a couple of days and fluid gain always gets me when I'm traveling. I'm happy to report that I lost 2 lbs., so that puts me at 2/5! I'm hoping to earn the green next week, so that will help me stay on track while I'm...

Help, loss weight but no smaller sizes

I'm going to chime in with the other posters, who have all given you great advice. Although it seems like you will lose more quickly if you eat less, your body sees this as starvation mode and responds by holding on to every ounce it can. By adding calories, you may see those pounds melt...

    WW Key Lime Pie

Both of those sound yummy--I'll have to try them. I like the chocolate eclairs (3 pts) and the sundae cups. I've heard people talk about the chocolate muffins but I've never been able to find them.

I need dieting help, in a "Challenge" against DH! **UPDATE-BOTTOM PAGE 1**

Hi Seaspray :wave2: I have to weigh in on the side of percentages, too. My DH can lose by just cutting out bread and potatoes! It takes a lot more than that for me! On the other hand, the guys just love to win. So maybe you are being smart by letting him "win" at losing! ;)...

Deprivation - Something to Think About

What a great quote!! I'm going to use it as my inspiration for this coming week. I've had such a problem this week keeping away from office goodies. Next week I'll tell myself, if I eat that cookie I'm depriving myself. Thanks for sharing! :flower:

    Were to start?

Hi, Tracey! :wave2: I agree with Becka, the first step is finding the plan that is right for you. IMO that is the key to losing weight and keeping it off. Another key is to take baby steps. Start with changes that you can live with and go from there. There is a great thread here that...

I need ideas: What do you keep in your WW pantry?

My new favorite quick chocolate fix: jello sugar free pudding cups made with Splenda. They weigh in at 60 cal., 1.5 grams of fat and 1 gram of fiber, so they are 1 point!!!!! And very yummy!
