We always use all of our gift cards the night before checkout to pay the balance on the room. That way, we can charge using our Magicbands and don't have to carry 10+ gift cards to the park with us. It's very simple and only takes a few minutes of your time.

We went to MK on Nee Years Day last year. We got there at ripe drop and Fantasyland was dead for the first two hours that the park was open. It got pretty crowded after that- but the late arriving crowd allowed us to get a lot done before the masses arrived.

Once the parade is over (starts at 3:45) the crowds at AK tend to disappear rather quickly. The last two hours of operation are an excellent time to so headliners there- we've enjoyed EE with no waits during the last 30 minutes of the day several times.

I'm wondering if they can't be microwaved ONLY while at Disney due to the RFID chip. You zap the chip, the mug won't work. Once you get home, damaging the chip doesn't really matter, so it might be fine.

I'll be the first of many to tell you that they have been enforcing FP return times for quite some time now. I'm sorry that you were disappointed in the way the situation was handled, but in this case, rules are rules.
