Goofy's Sky School accepts first class on June 3

One thing that I find interesting with this coaster that I don't notice in other coasters... ...most coasters will lean when they turn, so if they turn to the right, they lean to the right. Mulholland Madness doesn't so this, so with the sharp turns it can seem like it's going to fall off...

    Security Check Questions

Yes, you're right. However, the OP was asking about simply passing through the security area to get to DTD, so I don't think this would apply. Yup, definitely. So you'd have to enter through one security area, and exit through another to get from one side to the other.

    Mickey's Soundsational Parade Video

There's another thread that someone started about this, and in this post I mention that we have video of the commercial filming from last Friday, so anyone wanting a sneak peak at the parade can check that out. We were lucky that we happened to be walking by just as the filming started :cool1:

    Soundsational Filming Today 4/22

We were able to get a good chunk of this on video. A previous poster who mentioned the drums being extra loud was absolutely right, so I did my best to clean up the sound and bring up the music volume, so the video sounds a little better than it did in person. Obviously the actual parade will...

    LIVE Disneyland Webcam

There's a lot of construction going on at the moment, especially at DCA. The entire entrance is being revamped, a theater is being built across from the entrance, and they're building Cars Land. In DL, the Emporium is going through some exterior remodeling.

    Security Check Questions

I'm surprised to hear people saying that it's taken them 5-10 minutes to make it through security. We go all the time (just got back from the park a few hours ago), and it's never taken more than 20 SECONDS (not minutes) to get through security. And I always carry a backpack full of A/V...

    Most Consecutive Days at Disneyland

Anyone happen to know if there's a world record for most consecutive days in the DLR/DCA parks?

    How low *could* you go?

The Mickey & Friends parking structure is one of the largest in the world -- It doesn't fill up, at least not in my experience (we go for New Year's Eve). You might not find an ideal parking space, so it might take you 10-15 minutes to walk from your car to the tram just getting across the...

    How low *could* you go?

We actually live in Phoenix, so we're about the same distance from the park as you are. We have APs because we go so frequently, otherwise it'd cost a fortune. Our gas cost is usually about the same as yours, maybe $100. We usually find the hotel on Priceline and get something in the...

    Disneyland Coke

I've always been a Pepsi fan, not much for Coke. But if the Coke at DLR has pixie dust, I'll have to give it a shot next time!

    How low *could* you go?

My wife and I go all the time for four-day stretches, and $500 pays for our hotel, gas, and food (we have APs, so we don't pay for entry). For me, I would have difficulty justifying $500 for a single day in the park.

    Question: What is "Tangled"?

It takes the place of Gepetto's Candy Shoppe.

Help please with rides for a Saturday afternoon arrival...

As others have mentioned, there's no difference in viewing between the two restaurants, since the tickets that you get for preferred viewing are for the same area. We've done both Ariel's Grotto and Wine Country Trattoria's Prix Fixe menu. Ariel's Grotto is a few dollars per person less...

    Parking question

You're right that Monday is not an early entrance day. I believe the parking garage opens at 7am, though someone else may correct me on that (I'm not an early morning person :)).

This is a restaurant s/o question

We celebrated our 10-year anniversary at Napa Rose just a couple of months ago, and it was great. We ordered a bunch of things and split all of it (we wanted to try a variety). We just planned on doing the splitting ourselves, but they brought the salad and main course out to us already split...

    Disneyland on NYE

Main Street is the most crowded, but the rest of the park holds its share of visitors as well. There are just a lot of people there during that time.

    Disneyland on NYE

Because it's more than just a fireworks display. There's a NYE party on Main Street near the castle which begins a couple of hours before midnight.

It's A Small World at Christmas

We shot some video of IASW just before Christmas. In case anyone doesn't get a chance to experience it, here's the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3KGn_aoZXA
