    HRC room choice question...m

That is so true DeeInMS. I remember a few nights we skipped dinner because noone was hungry. Instead we did something I love to do, go out for dessert. We hit the Hard Rock Cafe several times just for their yummy desserts. I took a picture of my 15 year olds hot fudge sundae, it was huge.

    HRC room choice question...m

We stayed on the Club level back in April. There are 2 adults and 3 children. Fortunately, when I called to inquire about room space the nice gentleman put a request for a bigger room in the computer. He gave us a room with 2 big beds and a pull out couch. I took many pictures of the inside...

    Has anyone used hotelkingdom.com?

We used them last month and had no problem. I think we ended up paying $206/night for club level. Definitely checking them for the next hotel we book.

PBR or HRH for 13 & 9 yo boys?

I agree, the HRH was the better choice for my three boys, 9, 12 & 15. We liked the atmosphere better at the HRH. Walked over to the beautiful Portofino for dinner at Mama Della's. The hotel and restaurant were lovely but staying at the HRH was the place for us.

    Hard Rock Club Level Questions

I can only answer two of your questions. We were assigned a deluxe club level room at the HRH. I'm told they don't have very many deluxe rooms on club level so I guess I'm happy we got one. There were five of us in our party, 2 adults and three children. The continental breakfast, drinks...

    Hertz

We used Hertz from the Portofino and would not use them again from that hotel. Just a warning to check out the car before you rent it from there. Upon returning the car, my DH checked under the seats to be certain we didn't leave anything behind. He found an empty beer can under the seat. I...

    laundry

What floor was that on? Did we possibly miss some empty machines? You're right about not escaping the duties of laundry. Luckily, my DH usually helps out on vacation. I met some lovely tourists from the UK while at US/IOA and HRH. Such gracious and kind people!

Which Universal Hotel is Best for Kids!

The HRH pool was great. Haven't tried the other two. My boys, 9, 12 and 15 enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. I don't know how the mood is at the other two, but the HRH was just as I expected, wonderful and fun! My kids enjoyed the ping pong table and the shuffle board by the pool. When...

Hard Rock VS Portifino Bay & More Info

Just back from HRH deluxe club level and loved it. There are five of us, myself, dh and our 3 boys 9, 12, 15. The pool was great, kids didn't want to leave, great water slide. I found myself going to the parks in the evening with the short walk it takes to get there. Longer waiting for a...

    HRH Deluxe Room

We just got back and stayed in the deluxe club room. They are bigger than the regular rooms. While walking down the halls I looked in the rooms that were opened for cleaning and ours was quite a bit bigger. There were 5 in our party so it worked out great!

    Hard Rock Club Level Questions

This is for the anything else I need to know. If you're planning on doing laundry, do it early in the day or late in the day. I posted about our experience in the laundry room. With 4 machines that I know of, it is very difficult to get one. You may want to have your change ready when you...

RPR vs. HRH - kid's suite & club room upgrades

Thought I would put in my two cents worth about Club Level at HRH. Just got back yesterday and it was well worth the price we paid. Nice to come back from the parks and grab something cold to drink. During the day (after breakfast and before cocktails and hors d'oeuvres) they had soda and...

    laundry

Just back from HRH. We had a terrible time trying to secure washing machines. It was quite funny on one day though. We just got back from lunch and my dh said he would check to see if any machines were available. He came back up and said two out of the two were available and got a head start...

    laundry

It being a nice hotel, I imagine they have coffee, sugar, creamer in the room as well?

    laundry

I guess I'll have to wake up at my usual early time to beat the rush. Don't like waiting in line to do laundry. Any idea what time things open up to get some coffee?

Where does one call to make dinning reservation?

How soon to make reservations for Mythos? Do you think it will be totally booked for Easter week? I've never been there but it sounds like one I should try. Where they are open limited hours, they might fill up quick?

    laundry

Shpedly, do you think they had any more washers around? I know you didn't go floor to floor checking, or was that it? Seems like such a small amount for that size hotel. I know I'll be washing at least once a day to keep up with it, don't want to bring it home with me.

    Easter at the Hard Rock

Thought I would post some information I just found out about. They are having an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday morning. Meet poolside at 8:00am. Scooby Doo, Woody, and face painting will be there. Easter Brunch with a full buffet at the Sunset Grille with seatings at 10am, 12noon and 2pm, she...

What would you do (3 days to "Kill" in Orlando)

Which is better, Wonderworks or Ripley's? I'll have a few days free after my 5-consecutive at US/IOA. Has anyone been to Fun Spot off of I-Drive? How many hours can one spend in any of these places? Are they all day or half day places? We haven't really been out of the US/IOA area. After 5...
