Don't bring ammunition to Turks & Caicos

Is there any penalty thats "too harsh" for some of you? 25 years? Life? If you want to make a statement, 1 year in jail + $25,000 fine for each piece of ammunition seems extreme but not "harsh" to me.

    hooking up a landline phone

It depends on the service provider. As mentioned, companies are dropping POTS (plain old telephone service). Without a POTS system, you'll need something to power the phone circuits.

The 150th Running of the Kentucky Derby

Mystik Dan won. GREAT finish! Encino scratched because of a soft tissue strain in his leg.

Businesses should ask about support before signing any contract, what's included, what's extra.

Don't bring ammunition to Turks & Caicos

Again, that's fine. The country can do what it wants. I think this is the third time I've said that. I still feel 12 years is harsh.

True, but guessing its easier to smuggle ammunition than the gun. ;)

    hooking up a landline phone

We have VoIP for our landline. No issues with dropped or distorted audio. The bad... if internet or power goes out, no phone.

    hooking up a landline phone

Assuming its a DSL connection (using a phone line to the modem, it probably is) you dont want to just use a splitter like above. Or get a DSL filter to put on the line going to the phone. Best bet is to reach out to the company providing the internet and ask what you need for wired phone service.

Don't bring ammunition to Turks & Caicos

Ammunition isn't any good without a weapon to fire it. Countries can do what they want and I'm free to give my opinion of their laws.

    hooking up a landline phone

First, you need phone SERVICE from a company. Whoever you get the internet through may be able to provide it. You will probably need a filter, so the internet signal noise doesn't bleed into the phone line.

The 150th Running of the Kentucky Derby

For Kentucky horse racing, Keeneland in Lexington can't be beat. It's just beautiful. They've been improving the looks of Churchill for 15-20 years, and it has gotten better, but I still think Keeneland is a notch above. It's about 90 minutes from Churchill.

The 150th Running of the Kentucky Derby

Shoot, you could be there all day and not even see a horse, much less a race. I think there are 12-13 races through the day. Gates open at 8am, first race around 10(?). Derby goes off at 7p, and there's 1-2 races after.. Oh,, and the Derby race is about 2 minutes.

    Holidays

Colleges are generally in March and lower schools (K-12) in April. Each school will usually get a week off, but not every school is off at the same time. ETA: I would think April would be worse than March, but March would still be worse than February.

    Holidays

Keep in mind March = Spring Break and you could (probably?) get extra crowds in the park that you wouldn't have in February (as long as you avoid Presidents Day weekend). I agree w/PP. How important is it that you see the shows in London?

The 150th Running of the Kentucky Derby

I used to work the Derby for the television station I was employed at. My first was 1997(?) and my last was 2022. Yes, I was there the crowd wasn't allowed because of Covid. I would not go as a fan, especially paying. Of course, I'm not a big drinker either, and while I enjoy people watching...
