    Another moderate?

The pool at POR does not go deep. Not totally positive. Wasn't in the pool more than once. Pretty sure most main pools don't go deep or at least most of it is about 4 feet. I could be wrong but when i was at POR i was with my wife and daughter who was 5 at the time. We swam around the pool and...

    Another moderate?

Personally the CBR is my least favorite resort. At least the ones I stayed at inside Disney and out. The ones I have been at, all have the pools at around 4 feet at its deepest points. Not sure everyone is like that. As far as moderates I would go POR.

    Narcoossees

You will have a good time. Yes they do have there ups and downs but its never that bad. Have a glass of wine and sit outside if you can't see it from where you are sitting. Ate there a few times. Food was good.

I had been at the CBR with the DMP. Just this last August/September. Take the BC. Not a question in my mind.....Beach Club.

Sell me on a Disney Cruise!

Im considering a Disney Cruise myself. Never been on one and i never really considered going on one either. What do you mean "with Disney cruise lines but you will get the quality that you wont get with other cruise lines!!!" My wife is the one pushing it. What i have been hearing Im not sure...

    Onboard Dining Question

I am new to Cruises as I posted before I have never been on one but would like to give Disney a try. I am married with an 8 year old girl. But I am still unsure if its for me. My wife still wants to go and is excited about it. I did see a lot of video's from the cruise line site. Looks nice but...

Cruise and Disney world combo info.

My wife is very much wanting to do a Disney Cruise. Neither one of us had ever been on a cruise but the ads look great. We have a daughter who is now 8. Thinking of a Cruise/Disneyworld combo. With our daughter we have been at Disney World 3 times. We go on an average every other year. We had a...

Dining Plan vs Paying Cash...help, what's a girl to do??

There really is an easy answer to this. Call and see what the price is for each one in you party per day. Split that up per meal. Basically you will find its a good deal. Now you can decide if you want to plan your days around those meals. Plan a Rose and crown when you have the illuminations...

Pop versus a moderate - help me decide!

Pop is a geat value resort. If you are on a budget and the pool isn't the issue you will see its a good choice. The food court is better than some of the moderates I had been to. One stop busing, great food court, and it was quiet enough that I slept good. I did a five day there once when my...

If you visit WDW regulary do you feel the meals have gone down ever so slightly?

It would be nice to know of the Restaurants close by. Maybe there is somewhere online or someone here can give a list of the area's best places to eat. I am not downing any restaurants in Disney. But they have restaurants which no longer interest me.

If you visit WDW regulary do you feel the meals have gone down ever so slightly?

I have not read every post yet but what you said is very interesting. I can say there are alot of the free dining plans available. I wonder if it is the main reason for this decline. I can't believe how Jiko's decided to exclude there baby back ribs. The waiter said the New Chef said it was to...

If you visit WDW regulary do you feel the meals have gone down ever so slightly?

I have used the DDP the last two trips. I visit WDW every other year on the average. I like the signature restaurants so its the reason why we chose the ddp. This last trip there were meals that certain places do not make any longer do to the expense and the food in general just didn't come out...

    Review of Caribbean Beach Resort

Glad you had a great trip. I just got back a few months ago and I can't really say I enjoyed CBR as much as you. But im glad you enjoyed it.

    CSR vs CBR

You should really do a research and find what is good for you. I came back from CBR in September this year. Never again. The only thing I liked about it was the slide in the main pool. Other than that I really didn't like it. We stayed in a preferred room. You should read reviews here and others...

    POR vs Carribean Beach?

I have stayed at both. I much preferred the POR. I recently got back from CBR. It was the first time I was there. Its my opinion and I'm not trashing those who like it. But for me its (CBR) my least favorite resort I had stayed at Disney. It wasn't because its the largest as we had the preferred...

    Rose and Crown

That is a good time. But its not guaranteed you will get a seat outside. But they do have a private section where you can stand and watch it. its worth it. I did have a great seat this past trip. Best seats in the house as well as in the California grill. Good Luck.

We didn't do the dining plan and here's the result...

I use to think the DDP was the way to go. Years ago when it included the tip it seemed like a good value. When you ad a 20 % gratuity its starting to make me wonder. What I like about it is you get to splurge at a signature restaurant. Yes it counts as 2 credits but the expense of it helps...

    Jiko Menu

I believe they still have it. Unless they took it off within the last month.

    Port Orleans Resort Riverside Review

We stayed at the POR two years ago and loved it. Its our favorite moderate and I agree the food there was nice. We also love the DTD boat also. I could not find a negative thing about it. We stayed at the CBR this year (last time) against my will. We learned that we will return to POR again...
