I typically purchase annual passes in advance and have the vouchers mailed. Once there, we trade the vouchers for DVC AP at EPCOT International Gateway.
Does anyone know how they check other family members (young adults) to make sure they live in the same household if we trade vouchers at...
I wouldn't expect a free upgrade to Sugar Loaf. However, if you book a regular room you can ask if a paid upgrade is available at Sugar Loaf. If they have room, they will be glad to tell you the cost difference at check in.
You could also consider having two resort experiences during the trip and changing to the Poly after the kids leave to defer some of the cost and have a special experience for just the two of you. We've done this and it works fine.
I have been successful in obtaining a room in Sugarloaf upon check in. I booked a regular room and just asked if any upgrades were available at check in and what the price might be for the upgrade. I did this in late August around the 23rd. Worked fine.

I know there is only one...
You can make your own customized shirts with Disney characters at Zazzle dot com.
I made a shirt for DH with Carl on it holding a bunch of helium balloons.
Every time we eat at the CG, I forget to check whether they still have bar seating. Is it possible to get seating at the bar by walking up to the check in desk on the 2nd floor? Can you also order dessert at the bar along with a beverage?
