Good morning DVCers, Our next trip will be our first time staying at CCV. We will be in a dedicated 2br villa. In your experience which rooms have a nice view with a fairly low noise level? Would it be better to be closer to the lobby, or by the lake? TIA

Just booked our first stay at CCV In A 2br villa for Sept 8-14. What should I ask/hope for in a room request.Where are the best views? We will have 2 adults and 4 kids ages 1,4,11 and 14.

During our Thanksgiving stay we were able to see our dining credits when we checked in at the resort....but they may or may not have been there before then. I only noticed that they were on there when checking in to sanaa for our lunch reservations.

So we had an issue last week where when we went to use our cc to purchase the dining plan 48hrs to check in , it wouldn't work...long story short the cc company screwed up and we had to get a new card. We called member services and explained the situation and they said they couldn't do anything...

We go here every trip and love it...the food, the atmosphere and the service is always amazing. Our last trip was at spring break and most of my party had the steak and lobster and everything came out beautifully my 13yo ds had the whole lobster and it was melt in your mouth good.

I drove from san antonio tx to Cali and back last summer with 4 kids. On the way there we stopped half way and on the way back i drove straight through(total time with stops was 24hrs). I will never drive straight through again. But weather or not you break it up be sure to take plenty of things...

even tho the fast pass plus has changed, the rider swap has not so if you are going to ride RnR be sure to grab a rider swap pass. also the single rider line is always shorter than the standby line if you are going solo.

oh my gosh I totally feel you on this! we were at Magic kingdom on sunday night and waiting in line with my 8 and 5 yo's and a group of 3 grown adults cut the line right in front of my kids stepping on my 8yo's foot hard enough to leave a bruise. i tried to tell them the line started about 15...

We are also a family of 6 although mine are older (18,12,8 and 5) and we love staying in the animal kingdom villas 2br savanah view. Some people dont like them because the feel a bit remote but that is one of the reasons we like it. I Love that the 2 br has 3 full bathrooms...makes getting ready...

Look into renting a stroller. My favorite place to rent from is kingdom strollers. The will drop off and pick up at your resort. You can also get a fan that attaches to the stroller to help little ones say cool.

Check the resort gift shops...I think I recall seeing some on my last trip.

What is determined as being an "immediate family member" for the salute tickets? I have see where it says that for members with more than 6 immediate foamy members an exception can be made as to the amount of tickets that can be purchased. Tia

my vote for tonight is Kouzzina Trio-Tasting size portions of Greek-style Lasagna, Char-grilled Lamb Burger, and Cinnamon-stewed Chicken with Orzo 23.99 I love places where I candy order one meal and still get a variety

I haven't been to cali grill yet but we have been to Jiko and artist point with our 4 kids when they were 2,5,9 and 14 and again when they were 4,7,11, and 16. We know our kids and knew they would behave and if by some chance one of the younger 2 were tired or started to act up we were prepared...
