    Current Crowds in Oga's Cantina?

Packed elbow to elbow at the bar. I'll admit, I was a little uncomfortable. We had two evening reservations and did keep them both but if it's going to make you uncomfortable being that close, you may not enjoy it.

Do I need a touring plan?

Maybe just a plan for the first few rides you want to hit? We were there last week when crowds were low and that's what I used the touring plan for. But, we didn't stick to anything firm after the first few rides as we mainly just bounced around chasing the short lines.

    Rise of the Resistance... confusion!!

Right now, you have to have a park reservation for HS in order to try at 7am. There's another chance at 1pm but you have to be in the park to try. Due to low crowds, if you hop over to HS after 2pm, there might still be BG available. [That's how we got one unexpectedly at around 4pm when we...

SHADES OF GREEN at Walt Disney World Resort Information & Questions

There's plenty of families with children around but no one is running up and down the hallways if that's what you're asking. It's pretty quiet inside the hotel.

Temporarily Locked: Standy Line Open. Boarding Group: Rise of the Resistance *No Spoilers* Thread, Read 1st Post before commenting.

170-something. Got on pretty late in the day. We picked up BG 88 this morning at 7am and didn't get on until 5:30-6:00pm so it seems the ride was on the struggle bus a bit today. I think it varies based on the ride itself.

I can confirm they opened up BG again in the post-hopper afternoon. Got to HS yesterday and grabbed a boarding pass around 4pm while in line for another ride. Pleasantly surprised to be able to ride it on our first day at the parks!

Magical Experience App - Should everyone download it in our group?

Thanks for asking. I'm pondering this as well. It seems it would be a good idea for everyone in our party to have the app on their phones. But, I don't want to mess with the plans already made (they're all under my log-in).

    *** Official April 2021 Thread ***

Hi! We are tentatively looking at trip April 3-10 at Shades of Green. This was a rebooked trip from a 2020 cancellation. I'm hoping we can make it. The adults going should be fully vaccinated by then but that still doesn't make me 100% certain we'll be able to make the trip. But, I'm going...

    *****Official April 2020 thread*****

I just placed our order for tickets (from SoG) so it's starting to feel real! We have ADRs booked for: Biergarten, Oga's and Skipper's Canteen. I'm hoping Space opens up soon so we can try that as well. We're about a month out from FP so we're starting to get excited!

New Alcohol Policy - How is it playing out at Embarkation?

Not that I noticed at all. We don't normally do the drink of the day. Mojitos and Mai Tais by the pool and some drinks in the Outlook Cafe and I think they cost us about the same as last year. They didn't seem to be pushing any packages or anything like that. Now that I think about it, I don't...

New Alcohol Policy - How is it playing out at Embarkation?

No, they asked us to check one. At the port in Ensenada, we walked through security where they x-rayed our bags. The port security guy noted the wine and pointed me in the direction of 2 Disney CM sitting at a table. They looked at our 3 bottles and said we had to check one so I did. Picked one...

New Alcohol Policy - How is it playing out at Embarkation?

I believe it's per stateroom. 2 total for the room, not per person. I really didn't find it terribly painful or annoying.

New Alcohol Policy - How is it playing out at Embarkation?

Sorry, forgot to add you get it on the ship in the lobby. My family got in line to get off, I went to grab it and got back in with them. Took maybe 2 minutes.

New Alcohol Policy - How is it playing out at Embarkation?

Yes. We were absolutely allowed to bring alcohol on from port. We weren't the only ones bringing stuff home from Mexico. I didn't ask about getting it early as we were driving home and wanted it in our carry on. The receipt seemed pretty clear, though, last morning was pick up. Keep in mind...

New Alcohol Policy - How is it playing out at Embarkation?

Not sure what kind of info you want. We didn't try to smuggle liquor on board so I can't comment about that. But they were looking. We did a wine tasting excursion in Ensenada and had 3 bottles coming back onboard. We did have to check the 3rd bottle. I got a receipt and grabbed it when we got...
