May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

Well, with the uncertainty of it all, and Air Canada cancelling our flights, we've taken it as a sign. We've cancelled. Hopefully the third time will be the charm. Good luck to everyone that's sticking it out and I hope it's a good trip for you all.

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

We got onto the Aulani prestay waitlist ages and ages ago. We still have not been able to get a room through them. Called DCL last week and they still can’t help. It’s really odd. We’ve been checking in every few months and they keep thinking it will be any day.

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

I have heard rumblings that Disney was thinking to move the Hawaii cruises from Vancouver because of the risk of Vancouver not opening. Has anyone heard if this is settled now and it’s no longer being considered?

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

All trends are certainly looking even more positive for no issues on this cruise going after all. I'm excited. We have our air fare booked. I don't get Air Canada's schedule these days but we snagged the last direct flight from Toronto to Honolulu that they're flying. It's longish, but it sure...

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

Oh my, I was feeling much more positive about May next year being totally fine. We’ve started going all in. Booked airfare last week and since the Canadian dollar is up, we even mostly PIF-ed. Fingers crossed. Anyone know what’s up with Aulani for advance (EDIT: of the cruise)? They’ve been...

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

That's interesting. Good options to Seattle I guess? I'll probably fly to Vancouver. Welcome aboard! I realized I never introduced us as I was just continuing from the 2020 thread. It will be DW and I, with a small possibility of DS joining us. We would have been pre-celebrating turning 50 but...

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

I was able to change us to main dining on Saturday. I hope that gives hope to anyone else that’s trying.

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

No, Newfoundland Canada. If you were flying just from London, you’d beat me there because you have better direct flights. We’ll likely have 2 stop just to get to Vancouver. Our last itinerary was 23 hours. Maybe we’ll get better connections this time. You’ve seen the 499 days already mentioned...

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

I'll have close to 24 hours too. I certainly am not looking forward to not looking forward to it again once I book my flights - if you know what I mean. :)

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

FYI, for everyone that didn't follow the Aulani confusion last year, allow me to explain some of it and hopefully help you avoid possible issues if you wanted to include an Aulani stay. But note, I don't necessarily know all of it. A number of us talked to the cruise line about whether they'd...

May 6th, 2022 -10-Night Hawaiian Cruise from Honolulu to Vancouver (Kahului, Hilo, Nawiliwili, Nawiliwili)

Woo hoo. We're in. Deja vu all over again. We got a 7A GTY. Dang it, I forgot about setting the dining option again. I didn't try to set it until I read this thread. We're on late dining and main is full. We'll attempt to get onto the waiting list.

Hawai’i 10 Night Cruise to Vancouver

Thanks for your thoughts. We were booked on it too. So disappointed, but with so many crazy things this year, I guess it's not the worst. For us, we had never really looked at Hawaii land when we booked the cruise in 2018 and very much mentally locked into doing the cruise so never really...

Hawai’i 10 Night Cruise to Vancouver

I kept trying. Website was acting like it was in 2018. Availability kept changing. There is a good amount of GTY availability as of 15 minutes ago. I booked a 7A GTY. I'm not very happy though that it's $600 more than it was yesterday for the same room. I am going to compare to a land only...

Hawai’i 10 Night Cruise to Vancouver

@DisDiana, that sounds familiar but I'm afraid I don't have an answer for you. But certainly you should be able to see your booking right away. I don't recall there ever being a delay.

Hawai’i 10 Night Cruise to Vancouver

@ahain, what time were you able to book? I'm all confused by that. When I booked in 2018 for this originally, it was available before I expected. I get to book tomorrow. I'm surprised by the lack of people posting their quotes in the big Quote thread. Doesn't it feel down from last time?

    That's not bad at all.

Hawai’i 10 Night Cruise to Vancouver

Well, if you look at it the other way, no one had ever heard the term “Covid”, nor probably most “Coronavirus” (I hadn’t) when we all first booked this the first time. A lot can happen in that length of time. I am pretty confident the world will be pretty much back to normal by then. Not that I...

Hawai’i 10 Night Cruise to Vancouver

Actually, I should have been clearer. :) If prices are only slightly higher. They were pretty high originally and somewhat hard to swallow.

Hawai’i 10 Night Cruise to Vancouver

If the prices are not much higher than before, I think we're in. I have to believe 2022 things will be settled enough.
