DAS appointment for more than 1 person?

I'm traveling to WDW this June with my spouse, children, parents and sister. In total, there are 8 of us. Both my father and I qualify for DAS (Parkinson's and MS, respectively). Does anyone have experience with registering 2 guests on one virtual call? Or experience with 2 DAS guests in the...

Strategy to watch Magic Kingdom fireworks on "day off"?

Most of the QS places on the monorail are really good. Personally, I would grab dinner at Captain Cooks (Poly), when pick-up a drink from Trader Sam's patio before heading to the beach to watch fireworks.

    Need off-site Resort Options

I've stayed at the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista near Disney Springs. I was with a large group of high school musicians (my husband's orchestra). It was very nice. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, rooms were clean. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious room off-site.

    Castaway Cay Cabana Occupancy Question

We have two concierge rooms, so I don't think getting two cabanas is completely out of the realm of possibilities.

    Castaway Cay Cabana Occupancy Question

We wouldn't be looking at Serenity Bay. We would hopefully be able to get 2 side-by-side on the family beach. There will be several children.

    Castaway Cay Cabana Occupancy Question

I'm pretty sure the answer to this question is "yes," but since I've never taken a cruise on DCL, I thought I'd ask the experts in case any one has personal experience with this situation. Do infants count toward the occupancy of the cabanas? I'm used the WDW occupancy guidelines (1 child under...

    Confused about location of Sanna

Other than the excellent food at Saana, the biggest draw is the view. You can see the savannah from the dining room and can often see animals passing by during your meal. If you want to see the main building, I would book Jiko or Boma instead of Saana.

    Watching football games at WDW?

Most of the resort lounges will have TVs with the games on. I'm sure the bartender or server will be happy to find whatever game you'd like. I watched part of the 2009 Fiesta Bowl at the Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge.

Ugh...It was great while it lasted

I know it's not as magical, and perhaps it's already been suggested, but what about an off-site hotel? Since you are AP holder you'll have free parking, which is a huge advantage over most off-site guests. There are some really reasonably priced hotels nearby, especially in the Disney Springs...

Undecided Between BLT Studio (renting points), CR Tower or CR Garden Wing Room

I've stayed in a BLT studio with 2 kids before. We didn't pull-out the sofa bed (3 year old slept on sofa) but we did have a pack and play and a double stroller to manage. The space felt TINY. I don't think we would ever stay in a studio again unless it was an adults-only trip. The kitchenette...

    Jiko Recommendations Please

Wild board app, beet salad and all the wine. Such a unique wine selection, stuff you can't find anywhere else on property or even back home.

getting from POP to Ohana breakfast at Poly..time??

Assuming it's just the two of them (no kids and no need for carseats), I'd recommend Uber. Going from resort to resort is pretty inconvenient and takes a lot of time. Uber will take way less time than the bus/monorail combo needed when relying on Disney transportation.

Suggestions for Table Service Lunch Options at Disney Springs

I'd stick with Morimoto over T Rex. The food at T Rex is spotty at best. I know plenty of people who enjoy it, but only because of the atmosphere. Personally, I don't care how cool the atmosphere is, if the food sucks, I'm not going to eat there. Morimoto is only one TS credit for lunch, but 2...

    Best Hot Breakfast

I just stayed at the Embassy Suites Lake Buena Vista near Disney Springs (8100 Lake Street) with a group of student travelers (husband is a HS orchestra director). They had a great breakfast every morning. Sausage and bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoes, fruit, yogurt, cereal, grits, oatmeal...

    Boma or Captain's Grille

Boma is a must-do for us for every trip. Both their dinner and breakfast buffets are outstanding. You can't go wrong with Boma.

Which DIS personality is most like you?

I love a good random musical or movie quote, so I'm going with Ryno. A dash of Pete, too, because I tend to get a bit sassy and sarcastic, and I also enjoy a well-cooked steak.

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

I apologize if these questions have already been answered. I did my best to search the thread and didn't find the exact answers I was hoping to find. I'm planning on upgrading my 5 Day PH ticket to an AP during our upcoming trip in July. 1. If I don't update to an AP on the first day of our...

Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

What about the beach area between Tuvalu and Grand Floridian? I know it's not the dead-on view that the beach by the pool would be, but we're having dinner at GF Cafe before hand and were thinking we'd just stop there on our stroll. I know that beach is less popular in general because it's a...

Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

I saw a picture of a "guests without bags" line at the Poly monorail platform. Not sure if it remains, but it was there when they first moved the security location.

Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

Anyone have experience with crowds on July 3rd at the resort? I in years past they have announced use of wristbands and closed beaches, but they don't seem to have every been carried out. Since they do the same fireworks show on the 3rd, I was thinking that might be a better time to try and view...
