As I typed my new post this other question about dizziness got bumped up. Looks like my question was merged with this one! Why? I had a specific question to diser's to ask for help with someone who has now had this syndrome for 4 months. She knows what it is called!
Just looking for some help...
A friend of mine developed disembarkment syndrome after her cruise in December and is still having lingering effects of balance and movement issues. She is trying everything to get better and nothing yet. (Meds, acupuncture, chiro, therapy etc.).
Is there anybody out there who has had it linger...
We were on the Dream in August 2012 and had a server named Clive from Jamaica. I don't think they are the same people as he mentioned being fairly new. Maybe that is who your server was thinking about. Good luck with your search!
Interesting how opinions can vary... We loved blue lagoon as much as CC! Very different places though. CC is very much Disney. Blue Lagoon Island felt more like a tropical island, was more relaxed and had more shady areas. The dolphins and sea lions are great to look at. We did 2 different...
So much negativity! I've been to Nassau 3 times and yes, near the port is dirty etc. The OP asked about beaches and Blue Lagoon. We did sea lion and dolphin encounters on different trips. Loved the experience there. From the boat ride over to the beautiful beaches and tropical island...
We did the sea lion encounter and enjoyed it very much. I would say the walk is about 5 minutes. The walk is a little brisk as people are excited to get going and a Disney crew member leads the way. When we went in August the Blue Lagoon boat was very close to where the ships are docked. Right...
But no where was there any conclusive evidence of exactly which model of Sealy mattress they used. And examining the mattress itself yielded no identifiable markings, models, etc.
I too loved this bed so I hunted for the label after the first morning I slept on it during my Dream cruise...
There are some variables... If the ship is able to dock on time, how fast the crew gets organized and gets everyone off the ship and how fast you can run a 5K. From when I went I would say that the majority of people finished in 30-40 minutes.
For our group we did meet at 8:30 and started the...
I'm sorry about your pictures. I lost an sd card once with 6 months of pictures- I just felt sick about it.
One tip that I have not seen mentioned yet that may help someone in the future.- write your name/address and cell phone number(I also added my stateroom number for the cruise) on a piece...
We had a great time there in early August and it was not that crowded. There are so many people that say to just stay on the ship in Nassau, but I have been there 3 times now and got off the ship each time. The port area of Nassau is a pit but this island is so beautiful! We did two visits to...
We also enjoyed Blue lagoon island we have done the sea lion and dolphin encounter on separate trips. The boat ride over is as beautiful as the island. If we go to Nassau again I would stay there for a beach day. Our party of 4 all liked hanging out on their beach better than Castaway. So much...
I think this is the thread you are looking for. My sister started it back in 2007-and it is still going strong!

Yes, the water on board is fine-but I would still bring 1-2 bottles of water per person so you can take with if you are going on an excursion. How is that water in the country you are going to??
I would stick somewhat close to those dimensions you listed of your carry on but if it is the...
Here is the link to the menus. This menu happens to be for Animator's Palate on the Dream. From there you can navigate your way around to view all of the menus on each ship. It does say "abbreviated" but not by much in my opinion...
I would contact Blue Lagoon directly. I had a question one time and they responded to my email the same day. One other thing you could do would be to pack some snacks to bring off the ship-maybe order something from room service that morning to bring. Pack a few ziplocs to have on hand...
We did an excursion in Nassau and DCL provided towels. They were available where we met in the theater prior to getting off the ship. They just request that you bring them back when you get back on the ship. I like to bring one of those packable nylon grocery bags that fold up real small. Then I...
Clayton was CD on our Wonder cruise in 2008. We LOVED his vacation dance!
I was so hoping to have him again. It was fun when that song would start playing at random times during the cruise.
