    Transfering a Dummy Booking

When I saw E&K's post, I had to call in. I didn't want to take any chances. I was able to transfer my dummy booking to the one I placed on a 5-day hold without a problem. Fortunately, the price didn't go up but would love to have someone to compare pricing with.

What do YOU do on your CC Day?

We usually mail our postcards, pose for photos in front of the ship and mt. rustmore. We do an excursion (stingray & parasailing) with the kids early in the day then we get our floaties and drinks to chill and relax on the beach. After lunch, we drop our dd to scuttles cove, ds usually asleep...

Do you truly unplug when on a cruise?

Completely unplugged and love it!!! All family time during the sailings. It's sad but it's the only time I can get DH off of his BB and Iphone for that long period of time. When you get your documents, there's a phone number you can give to your loved ones in case of...

    Best Restaurant on Dream

AP for the entertainment...I thought the food on the Dream was mediocre unlike the Wonder..so if you don't care about seeing Crush or don't have any kids, you should just skip the rotational and book Remy twice..or Palo for that matter...just my opinion. have an awesome time!!! :goodvibes

    Flounder's

It's on the ship. There's no nursery on the island just Scuttles Cove which is for children who are registered in Oceaneers Club/Lab.

How does Carnival compare to DCL?

If you're bringing the kids, go with DCL. If you want casino and alcohol, go with Carnival.

    The Dream is no Wonder

I have to agree with the OP. DH and I were expecting the same experience as we did on the Wonder and got very disappointed. Silly me with my high expectations! It also didn't help that we got table #1 which was pretty much in the corner of every rotational dining room then top that with...

for those who have just sailed (10 credit photo pkg)

You're more than likely going to need more than 10 points. Just a little advice...have them take as many pictures of you, buy the cd for $250 (5 night itinerary price) then take advantage of the 50% off the package price of the prints. You won't regret it! Have a wonderful cruise!

    Tipping nursery CMs

They don't expect it but I did tip a CM $40 a couple of weeks ago just because my son loved being there so much. After leaving, I felt so bad because I should have included everyone in the nursery. They all did a marvelous job. So I wrote a wonderful letter to praise them all.

    Oop?

Family of 4, 5N to The Bahamas...spent about $1500 last year and around $1800 a couple of weeks ago. That's including excursions, Remy and tips. We always give additional gratuity more so to those who well deserve it. Things to consider is shutters which is $250 for the cd and once you...

    In room babysitting on Dream?

The oceaneers club/lab opens way earlier than that. My dd just said 8am til 1am. The nursery I believe closed at midnight maybe even 1am. Sorry we didn't have to use it that late. The latest our DS was there was 11pm which was long enough for us to finish our dinn at Remy. To the OP: The...

    Remy question..

You can call them from your stateroom and leave them a message. Tell them to call your wave phone so you don't have to wait. They have plenty of empty tables when we dined a couple weeks ago. We even got a ressie for Palo brunch the night before. Ask for David's table. He's marvelous...

    Nassau dolphin encounters?

My dd and I did the dolphin encounter at Atlantis last year. They did drag us everywhere. We went in July so you can just imagine how painfully hot that was. They took us through the casino, to see the beach then the dig. The kids got really hot and hungry so we ditch the tour after taking...

What did you do in St. Thomas/St. Marteen?

Seems like Paradise Point's a must do. Do you need a reservation to dine at the restaurant? The doubloon snorkeling sounds fun but my son will only be 4 at the time. slk, beautiful photos! How far is Paradise Point to Magen's beach and what time did you leave to get back on the ship? I'm...

What did you do in St. Thomas/St. Marteen?

Hi!! Just got back from the Dream and already planning for the next one. With all the rumors about new itineraries for 2013, we're thinking either Hawaii or Eastern Caribbean. I would love to hear your opinions and experiences on the Eastern Caribbean cruises. Our kids will be 4 and 10 by...
