Can canadian military buy Disney militarty discount tixs?

Discounted tickets are available to serving and retired Canadian Military. You must go to the ticket sales office in the Shades of Green resort ( the US Army recreation centre). We have been buying tickets there for years. The discount is not as great at the US PX system tickets, but every...

Canadian DVC members selling contracts? Making the US$ work for us!

We just sold a small contract at AK; we spend our winters in Kissimmee and hardly use our points. In any case, our selling price of $4,800 ended up netting us $3162.93 (cashed the cheque this morning), after all the deductions for taxes, commissions, title search etc. We did have to register...

    Driving from Kingston, ON

We live in Ottawa and commute to Disney area every winter. The suggestion of taking 81/77/2someting is a good one. Over the years we have learned not to take the by-passes but rather drive trough Syracuse and Jacksonville. If you are arriving near rush hour in Orlando, stay on 95 all the way...

    Bad lungs

I too have CF, mine is more GI, my lung function is still around 70%. I find it difficult to stand in lines for long periods and I find it annoying to invest time in line only to have to leave to find a toilet. The old GAC system served me well; the new DAS is a pain to deal with. One Guest...

Good Day, I just had to post here to gloat. I walked into the Gatineau (Hull) Quebec office at 2:15 pm on Monday. There were two employees waiting to review my docs; no wait. Then I went to the next section where there were three folks waiting for customers. This guy did a final review...

Canadian DVC Members - 198 - List on Page 1

Good Day, I guess I am one of the first Canadian DVC members - we joined when there was only one DVC, now Old Key West. We bought in in March 1993 at $55 pointand when the purchase included free park admission to New Year's Eve 1999! Since then we have made an annual trip to the home of the...

    Anyone gone to Disneyland Paris?

Good Day, We went to DLP almost three years ago. I have to say I was disappointed, if not shocked. I am certain Walt would be spinning in his grave if he saw the condition of the place and the surliness of the cast. Many walkways were cracked and broken, many uneven, some with weeds...

If health is an issue, should i still buy?

Good Day, When we bought into OKW in 1992, our son, and only child, was then 7 years old and was on his second round of treatment for cancer. We had been going to WDW annually since he was four, so when we heard about DVC, we checked into it. It seemed like the thing to do and we did not...

    Air Canada Embraer 175

Good Day, We flew back from Fort Lauderdale to Ottawa on 29 Dec on AC Embraer. I must say I enjoyed it. The plane itself was fine, lots of room. The advantage was fewer passengers to unload, retrieve luggage, and get through customs. We were cleared in less than 20 minutes.

Just got back...and i think i am buying DVC!!!

Good Day, We bought into DVC in 1992, back when there was only one DVC and the logo had three mountains, points were $53 per and we got free admission to the parks until Dec 99. Corporate downsizing reduced it to two mountains, added several additional resorts and makes us pay to get into...
