I have 60 SSR points available for rent. They expire on July 31, 2008 and are currently in a holding account because of a cancelled reservation. Please contact me at rhonda.marks@gmail.com if you are interested. Thanks.
Go and enjoy your time alone. There is time to be with ones' family and time to be by yourself so you can recharge.
You have nothing to feel guilty about: you tried the family thing and it didn't work out. I know I would not have tried a second time, but I've been told I'm a ***** (rhymes...
I'm confused. I was told by my guide about the inability to bank the points but now I'm hearing more restrictions. Has anyone been told they cannot transfer or rent out these points?
I have to say I was a little nervous the first time I went because I saw so many families or couples and I felt a little out of place. After a while, I discovered the advantages of traveling solo (eat what and when you want, ride a certain ride ten times in a row, etc.). When I wanted to talk...
My hubby has not voiced that concern, but my brother has asked me if I was having an affair. I simply tell him that I'm taking some time for me, that's why I travel alone. I also tell him that I'm grown and to mind his own business. ;)
Go for it! DS is at UFL and DH refuses to come to parks so I go alone. I have done WDW solo at least five times and have had no problems. Like others have said, you can do what you want, when you want. I like to take a book and just sit on a bench in the parks.
I'm flying down to Orlando with my son and then driving him up to UFL on Sunday. I hate driving in the rain. I hope it rains either before I get there or after I arrive in Gainesville.
I sold my membership because my baby is now 21 years old. I have two other timeshares (Fairfield and Hilton) and use them to stay in Orlando and my favorite vacation spot, Las Vegas. But lately I've been considering buying a new membership. There's something about staying on property in a one...
Viki,
I am an attorney and my advice is to obtain a copy of the will to determine if you were mentioned. You may have the right to contest the contents of the will and get your fair share by demanding that your father's estate be divided as though no will were filed (under the intestacy laws...
I can relate to everyone's story. I was doing pretty well (for me at least) at the beginning of the year; losing weight, exercising, journaling. Then I got tired of it and slacked off big time. I've decided to take it easy until I take my last vacation of the year in October, then start up...
I own both DVC and HGVC and there are great things to say about both. Although the HGVC property is beautiful in Orlando, when I'm visiting Disney I like to stay on property. I have a small DVC membership (150 points) which works for me since I travel alone for the most part. My HGVC...
Hubby and I went over the Memorial Day weekend and had a ball. You have to do the Whirlpool Jet Boat Tour. It's about a 10-15 mile ride from the Falls but worth it. Make sure you bring lots of money for food though. I was really surprised by the prices. We had a Denny's right across the...
I have fourteen (14) points in holding status and one (1) with no restrictions available for rent or transfer to another member. My use year ends 8/31/06. The cost is $10.00 per point. Please email me at rhonda.marks@gmail.com if interested.
Thanks
