Wondering if anyone has had any luck booking Grand Californian on points at the 7 month mark? We might be heading out that way and if we can stay on points great.

Hyatt MCO has a nice outdoor pool on floor 6 I believe. Also they have 2 very good restaurants at the hotel as well

We are doing this exact thing this January and then repo cruise back to port Canaveral right after.

You pay when you go through customs. i bought a watch onboard that was over the $1600 dollar allowance for wife and me and the customs agent figures out what you owe right there. They let me go on through as what I would have owed wasn't that much.

We just did Royal Palms about a month ago. Cab ride is maybe 10 minute tops. A bunch of people in the Cab/Van we were in were heading to the Westin. You can get a day pass for the Westin. We loved Royal Palms but the beach was packed with folks from the MSC cruise ship that was in port as well.

As others have mentioned PIF is not due when booking unless it is past the PIF date. You can upgrade to a 1 bedroom if they are available without penalty and you will get the price that the 1BR was priced at the day of the original booking. We actually upgraded our CL suite to a bigger room...

That room layout of the Walt is why we selected it over the Roy. Both were available when booked the cruise.

Yeah when I spoke to shoreside to book excursions and Cabana I asked them if we could add my MIL and her friend to excursions, Cabana and Palo or if they had to wait for their window open? They said that we could book them on any excursions, Dinners etc that WE were doing without any hesitation...
