The CM was wrong. Magic Bands are currently available to anyone staying on property. And FP+ can be booked once you link your park tickets to your My Disney Experiance/Magic Bands (and once you're in the window to book FP+.) It doesn't matter where you buy your tickets.

Are you following the recommended parks for each day? That can make a big difference in how crowded it is!

I believe the official Disney rule is that kids must be 7 to ride alone. And 14 to "supervise" someone under 7. So your kids should be fine. They may ask how old your younger daughter is - but it shouldn't be a problem. Hope you're feeling better soon and enjoy your trip!

Aurora actually doesn't have a consistent meet and greet in the MK. Last week we saw Snow White, Jasmine, Aurora and Ariel. My understanding is that Belle no longer appears there. I would guess these are usually who you'll get.
