Saw something similar when we were at WDW in October. A security dog inspected the ferry after passengers disembarked. We assumed it was just a routine random check as it was very brief and the next group of passengers were permitted to board as soon as it was done.

Check this thread for pictures and info about the POP Fridges. My understanding is that most rooms have them installed now and that if yours doesn't, you can request one at no charge. Completely agree with OP that losing the second snack on the Quick Service Dining Plan was a real disappointment. :sad1: As the other posters have noted, the change has people wondering if the plan is worthwhile anymore. I would have much preferred that they drop the desserts and replace them...
